Technically, shouldnt Vernon's screams have woken Harry up? The blood wards if they let a snake in could have let Voldys corporeal form in too... A little plot hole that is not gone about well.

ohhh! this sounds so interesting! But how could Harry sleep through his uncle sleeping! That is magc right there!
Ouuu... what a beginning! Harry is kidnapped in the dead of the night. You don't see him taken so easily usually. Nice change. :)
