After Harry accidentally deages himself to a baby during a Potions class, Severus is tasked with aging Harry back up to his correct age before any word gets out on Harry's condition. Severus is less than thrilled with the new job, and Harry is less than thrilled with his new caretaker. A novella, will contain mild CP. Set in the fifth year.

Taking place directly after the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry is trying to deal with his trauma from the course of the events of the war and struggles to confront it, along with trying to manage his grief. Snape survived but disappeared in shame and remorse after the battle. Harry finds him, and they both discover that they have more in common now more than ever - Both are struggling with their sense of self and purpose. But stray Death Eaters from the battle are re-grouping for a final stand to take out the great Harry Potter, and their traitor, and Harry and Snape must put aside their differences to end the fight once and for all, whilst dealing with Snapes' illness along the way. Explores darker themes of grief, self-blame, PTSD, depression, and suicidal ideation.

Harry's life takes an unexpected turn when he receives a mysterious letter from his late mother revealing his wizarding heritage. As letters continue to arrive in massive numbers, Harry's already difficult life with his relatives becomes unbearable. Just when Harry thinks he can't take it anymore, a dark stranger appears offering to take him away to a new world, full of magic.

- The prophecy was set in a physical stone. Crystal is a type of stone, and that stone contained the prophecy.
Author's Response: I didn't mean it literally, more that even though there is a prophecy it doesn't dictate the future. That his future is his to make :)

- I cannot help but feel as though Professor Dumbledore would have found it amusing that his hair had been turned red, and would have told the student what they needed to do to improve their skills, or congratulate them on a spell well cast. Great story. I can't wait to see what you do next.
