Severus Snape just wanted to enjoy a brief respite over the Christmas Holidays away from students...maybe catch up on his potions journals or lose himself in brewing, but Petunia Dursley showed up on his doorstep with a cat and that all changed.

- I've really been enjoying this story! I like how much Neville has become involved, and the idea of a private mushroom den under the quidditch stands was brilliant. Can't wait to read more!
Harry has gained an unexpected interest in potions, but that does not stop him from blowing cauldrons. To counter that, Harry throws himself headfirst in studying the theory. Ironically, he just keeps getting worse, and Harry can't figure out why.
Umbridge is another obstacle, as is Professor Snape.

- I really liked this. The writing style really captured the intensity and emotion of the moment, and the idea of Harry's emotions interfering with his potions is intriguing. I would like to see a sequel, maybe? About Harry learning more Occlumency and forming a better working relationship with Snape, perhaps? If not, that's okay. If you do, however, please let me know :)
