- I'm enjoying this. Its nice to have a story that's in presnt tense that isn't written badly. (Not that all storries written in present tense are bad- this fic is proof. :)

- This is definitely one of the most brilliant fics I have ever read. After reading it for the fourth time (I think), I decided to add it to my fanfiction favorites. Out of just over 4,000 fanfictions that I have read, its now one of the 11 that I recommend. Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a phenomenal fic, and giving us readers something to do.

Harry receives a very special gift on his 16th birthday that leads him to the help he needs...Snape is finding respite from his growing pressures and discovers one in need of help. Despite himself, he finds he CAN grow close to another living being. Only..."everything would've been so much simpler if it'd actually been a cat"...

- Great chapter, patricularly heartfelt. Shadow's emotions and thoughts were realistic, and I can totaly invision a little black cat doing all of those!
