About me:

I've been reading fanfiction for years, and I've written a few pieces in other fandoms, as well as some drabbles and ficlets for the HP fandom, but mostly I have been a reader. For the Boy Who Has Everything is my first attempt at a full-length fic. Three Times Trouble is a response to my sudden inexplicable enjoyment of kidfic.

My favorite characters are Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Sirius Black, Neville Longbottom, and the elder two Weasley children, Bill and Charlie (whom we just don't see enough of, unfortunately). Many of the younger characters became more interesting to me as they grew older.

I like to theorize about how things work, especially things that aren't well explained in the books. Such as:

- How and why does a Patronus take the shape it does, when a wizard first learns the spell? How would a Patronus change its shape (e.g.; Tonks' and Snape's)? Does it take the shape of the other person's Patronus, or just a shape that the first person associates with them? If the other person is still alive, does that mean that now there are two identical Patronuses?

- Since some wands are specifically good for certain types of magic, does that mean wands choose their owner based on an inborn talent or potential?

- If people have minds, souls, and magic, how distinct are the three things? A piece of soul seems to possess both a mind and magic, although it isn't clear how much of each comes from the actual soul fragment and how much is purposely spelled into the object that contains the soul fragment. The horcruxes that reacted poorly to being messed with (e.g.: diary, locket) were most likely spelled to do that. However, the horcrux in Harry managed to impart magical skills, suggesting there may be some magic within the soul itself.

- What makes some magic stick around for centuries and not lose power, while other magic wears off over time, or ends abruptly when the spell-caster dies?

    World peace. *snort* :-D

Great as usual. Snape's anger with Dumbledore hit on a lot of my own ideas about the whole Harry-as-weapon thing.

I really like how as Snape leaves, Harry has doubts about Snape being his guardian, but when Snape comes back he looks up hopefully and then wants Snape to do the paperwork before anything else. :-)

Oh, that sucks about Harry's things! It truly sucks! So many were really irreplaceable. If it were me I would be hysterical, but I guess he has worse things to deal with than just losing those things. How he finally reacted really tells a lot. :-(

An intriguing end to this chapter. Not so much a cliffhanger, but definitely something to wonder about and anticipate.

You are so good at writing details guaranteed to hit the right nerves in readers. Very, very strong chapter. Yes, I can definitely believe that it was very hard to write.

Righteous indignation... that's probably good for him.

I'm glad he got some of his stuff back. :-)

Really great follow-up to the last chapter!

Snape finding *any* reason to defend Lupin is always amusing. :P

Hmm, a trip to Diagon Alley in the near future? I'll be looking forward to that. I bet it *will* turn out to have some nasty surprises for Harry, though.

Deathly Hallows spoilers! Something still needs to be repaid.

    You. Made. Me. Cry.

    Beautiful writing.

This is in answer to my own challenge “Aesop Fables.” Harry and Draco get into a bit of trouble and are caught by Professor Snape.

Great one-shot, and I Harry and Draco in this. Oddly enough, I can totally see those two going at it with fists instead of wands. Seems like they got a great punishment from Snape -- and he's so right, making the little snots stand around bleeding and wondering what he's going to do to them is so much better than just starting to yell at them right away.

Author's Response: I always thought of Snape as the type to make them suffer first. Anyway thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

When Harry is found at his relatives, beaten and injured, it is more than potions and magic can heal. Snape decides to try something truly extraordinary to give Harry the childhood he deserves.

A time travel story.

Interesting start. I'm curious how you will handle the relationship between Snape and Harry if Harry's parents are alive. That should be interesting. Of course, Snape's mission into the past might not succeed....

They should save the Longbottoms while they're at it. It would be cruel to still let that happen without at least trying to do something. Severus and Minerva should tell Dumbledore what will happen to them, at the very least.

I like your ideas and the story is cute, but I think Harry talks a bit much for a one year old.

    Author's Response:

They were so fixed on the Potters that they happened to forget about the Longbottoms... a pity, really.... I'm sorry ;-)

If Harry talks much - he is not just one, but one year and three months - my younger son (he is five now, his brother six) talked much more, not better but more at that age ;-)

Good job on this chapter. Off to the future, huh? I can't wait to see what has changed.
