After the Dobby incident at the beginning of the second book, Harry runs away, and Snape kidnaps him. In an old-fashioned house with no comforts and a huge black dog, Harry finds himself at Snape's mercy as Snape plays mind games and makes Harry live through different scenarios. Though Snape seems crazy and psychotic, Harry begins to see reasons behind Snape's sporadic behavior.
There is corporal punishment, but it is different from what I've written before. This is a Mean!Snape story for the most part. If you're looking for a cuddly story, go elsewhere please.

- *sniff, sniff* Adorable. Absolutly adorable. I almost cried. Excellent, oneshot and a wonderful way to begin the Fic Fest. I don't know what else to say right now, really. You did an excellent job with the characters and emotions they were all feeling. Wonderful. Absolutly wonderful.

- Wonderful. I have a strange desire to sing 'winter wonderland' now. Anyway excellent story and another excellent addition to our Fic Fest.
Harry becomes Severus' charge during the Christmas break during 2nd year. Will Harry be able to survive his new overprotective guardian? This story may contain mild spanking but is not a main part of the story

- Interesting beginning. I can't wait to see where it goes. I love your Snape he see very in character and unlike a lot of stories were he is completely ignorant of the muggle world, you have him as being aware, perhaps just not up to date on it. Wonderful. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter.
After the final war, Harry has to make decisions about where he will go and who he will let into his life as he begins to reexamine his judgements about people. This story takes place at the end of the Seventh book, but before the Epilogue. SPOILERS for Deathly Hallows! Interaction with Snape is not in the first few chapters, but he will be a prominent firgure in this story.

I almost laughed at the when Snape started calling Harry names then Harry supplied a few...then Snape continued...then Harry...etc. lol
Anyway, good chapter and I hope to see another one soon. (As well as another chapter of 'The House that Time Forgot') *wink wink nudge nudge* ;)
Thirteen-year-old Harry is forced into the body of another Harry in a parallel world, where Snape adopted him years ago. And Snape is enraged to discover that his son has been replaced by a stranger. In our world, Snape discovers a new Harry--one who sees him as a father he never wanted to be. Each Harry must learn to survive in a strange new world, and search for a way home.

- I must say, when I first saw this story I had no intention of ever reading it. It just didn't seem like something I'd like. However, out of extreme bordom and curiosity I decided to give it a try. And I must say it is amazing.
One thing I really enjoyed about it I suppose is that you didn't spend chapter's and pages on how the Harry's switched and it didn't take long for them to realize what the problem was. For a lot of stories that deal with plans of existence so much time is spent trying to figure out whats going on it takes away from everything else.
Also, you characterizations are brillant! You manage to keep both Snape in character somehow.
I'm really sorry that I didn't read this story as soon as it was posted, but I must say that now I'm hooked.

Ha! "extreme boredom," you say? Well, my thanks go out to the January blahs, as they've driven you to click on my story!
In the early stages of writing, I toyed with the idea of working in more of a plot involving the AUs, but it simply bored me; I didn't want to write a story about AUs in a Star Trek sort of way. The AU is really an opportunity to put Snape & Harry in a difficult situation and force them to interact. So I focused on what I wanted: writing pages and pages of dialogue between them.
And no apology needed…just keep reading & letting me know what you think!

- Amazing. Honestly, there isn't a word of this story I don't like. Though I suppose I expected Harry to be angerier at Draco's comments, then, of course, I remembered he isn't our Harry and...well...you get the idea.
Brilliant story and I can't wait to read more.

I'm glad you liked the chapter—I'm taking cold medication that makes my brain fuzzy and I was hoping there wouldn't be all kinds of drunken typos.
You have a good point about Harry, though…he's learned how to deal with Malfoy with Snape's help, but that may not be coming across. I'll add a little clarification in editing.

- I love Snape. He's so manipulative. I also liked how he only allow Hermione to answer in rhyme (that was beautiful).
