When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

- Thank you very much for this chapter! I long so much to know what will happen next - each new chapter of this story is like an early Christmas present to me.
...It's been nearly four years since you've started posting this story, and I've been there practically from the start. Each character of your story has grown on me and I feel like I know them all now, to me they're too real - and I love them.
My only hope is that you'll never abandon this story, because it HAS to have an end sometime. I don't know if you'll make a happy end or not - I don't care - the thing is that I'm just so craving for each new chapter (well, you've made me an addict), for something to happen, that it will literally break my heart if you decided not to continue with it. (Oh, why am I writing this? You said you'd post new chapters soon - I am just simply afraid, afraid that you'd take this awesome world away from me (and from everybody else - but they don't count)
...Well, you see I'm a bit fan crazy on your story;)

10 year old Harry is kidnapped along with his aunt and cousin after Vernon finds money that belonged to powerful people. Snape eventually steps in to save the day. Severus later adopts Harry though a ritual to make Harry his biological son. Harry just wants to be normal but that isn't possible with escaped convict Sirius Black on the loose! Harry's first year at Hogwarts but with a slight twist to it.

- This chapter is very....fascinating. But I can't understand why did Sirius kidnap the Snapes? What would it give him? Holding them as hostages wouldn't give him anything but troubles, would it?
Author's Response: That is going to be explained in the next chapter but basically though, Sirius needed someone to use in order to get what he wants. His old school rival was the perfect chioce since he didn't mind threatening to hurt the man if his demands went unanswered. Alec was just there unfourtunatly at the wrong time so he got stuck in for the ride. Hopefully the next chapter will help explain better. Thanks for the review!
James Potter did something unforgiveable and nobody knew about it... until now. What will the knowledge of this sin do to Severus and his perfectly (until now) isolated life?

Year Seven, SS through HBP compliant (Non Deathly Hallows Compliant) Severitus. Why is Harry's appearance changing? Is he being affected by destroying the Horcruxes in the same manner that Voldemort was while he was creating them? And just why is Snape acting so weird?
