Hi, everyone.  I'm a long-time HP fan, but new to reading and writing HP fanfics.  Of course Harry and Severus are favorites, but I really like almost all the characters.

I'm a preschool teacher, and happily married with two children who also love HP.  Other things to know about me?  Hmm, I love horseback riding, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.  I love coming to talk with other fans on the internet, and I love reading fanfics.

    Oh, that was wonderful! I'm glad you're writing a sequel. I love the image of Harry's picture and especially once it was moving.

    It's great to see how much Harry has changed and how happy both he and Severus are now.

    Aw, these are such cute vignettes! I'm really enjoying seeing Harry grow up with Severus. He's an adorable little boy. I especially like the Tooth Owl, and this last one where you show him growing and maturing.

    Very sweet story! I love Severus' and Harry's interactions and how Severus softened up so towards Harry. I especially loved the end when Harry said his favorite time of day was when he woke and realized that living with Severus was true and not a dream. I mean, how can you get any more heart-warming than that?

    A sequel sounds like a wonderful idea!

    I love how you wrote about the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus' birth and salvation, and had Severus come to believe.

    And for Harry to discover a true memory just made it perfect.

    Author's Response: I kept puzzling over JKR's treatment of Christmas in the books, and I finally couldn't leave it alone! Poor Harry is standing a spiritual crossroads, and I took a chance and had guidance come from a most unlikely source! I kept hoping I could pull it off believably, but the response has been overwhelmingly positive, so I can BREATHE again! :-) Thank you SO much for reviewing!     Thanks ^^, when I was writing the following story, I was trying to think of a chapter and 'Christmas Present' came to me. However, as I'm a Dickens fan,'Christmas Past' and 'Christmas Future' immediately came to mind and, as the story spans three time frames, it seemed only natural to break it into three chunks. And who better to introduce Severus and Lily's Christmas tradition than the elf who saw it begin ^^

    A great Christmas story, Morgana! I love the image of Severus baking the cookies, I'm sure it's partially in remembrance of Lily but I hope he's found some comfort in giving to others for it's own sake.

    I also loved how Harry reciprocated with the gifts for the professors, and how he and Severus seem to have come to truce, hopefully a permanent one.

    Having Albus reconcile with Gellert Grindelwald was also very touching to me, but only because Gellert has recognized how wrong he was and is remorseful. Hopefully they can both find some peace now.

    Thanks ^^. The way I envisioned it, baking the biscuits would be a bittersweet ritual; it'd evoke memories of simple, innocent happiness, love and loneliness. Severus does it partially in rememberance of Lily and partially to remind himself that, although the years have damaged and changed him, there is something of the boy he used to be still within him. Harry's reciprocation showed him a facet of Lily in her son and, as Severus loved her dearly, I think one could say that something has definately changed within their dynamic.

    I'm glad you like the reconciliation between AD and GG; the appeal of their story is rather dependant upon the audience's mindset with regards to gay literature but, if you can get past that hurdle, their love is probably the most beautiful and tragic of the HP pairings- Lily and Severus included.
