About me:

Hi, everyone.  I'm a long-time HP fan, but new to reading and writing HP fanfics.  Of course Harry and Severus are favorites, but I really like almost all the characters.

I'm a preschool teacher, and happily married with two children who also love HP.  Other things to know about me?  Hmm, I love horseback riding, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.  I love coming to talk with other fans on the internet, and I love reading fanfics.

I've really enjoyed these last few chapters! It's good to see Harry and Severus slowly building up trust and a better relationship. I'm glad that Harry explained why he ran away and that Severus was understanding. It was also good that Severus tried to make Harry see that he isn't bound by the prophecy.

    Looking forward to more!

A package is sent to Severus 16 years after Lily's death. Its contents reveal he and Harry have been living a lie. Will they both come to accept the truth and one another or will they continue to live the lie?

Wow, this is a great beginning! I'm very concerned for poor Harry. It sounds like he is in a bad way, both emotionally and physically. He is worn down by grief and exhaustion and he badly needs someone to look out for him. I like that you have Harry still dealing with Sirius' death and his emotions over that...it seemed too unrealistic that Harry coped so well in HBP.

I'm glad that Remus came for Harry, but I'm also glad that Harry is distrustful of Remus' concern. Remus really never has been there for Harry when he needed him. And now they're at Grimmauld Place...that's got to be difficult for Harry too.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks for your review.  Based on your comments, I have a feeling you'll enjoy the rest of the story. :)

Another great chapter! I feel so badly for Harry. He's rescued from the Dursleys, but only to go to Grimmauld Place which is so painful emotionally for him now.

Severus and Remus both need a swift kick in the seat of the pants for their behavior here; Remus because he should have known how painful it would be for Harry to suddenly be back at Grimmauld Place, and Severus because he's just being a cruel git.

This is no criticism of your writing though, because they are both perfectly in-character. Severus is a cruel git right now (though I hope he'll warm up to Harry eventually) and Remus, for all his intelligence, can be very dim-witted when it comes to emotional needs-deliberately so, I think. I really want to shake him and the other Order members too. For all that Harry is so crucial to the war, his emotional and psychological well-being does not seem to be high on the priority list.

Well, anyway, I really enjoyed the chapter and am looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Thank you so much.  I'm glad you think everyone seems to be in-character.  That was my number one requirement while writing this.

Harry understands the meaning of loss. What he doesn't know, is that he also deserves to find.

Great update! I'm so impressed with your writing. The plot is complex and intriguing, and the characters' thoughts and emotions are so real.

I loved all the interactions here. It would be good to see Severus and Remus develop a friendship, and of course I love the relationship between Harry and Severus.

I wonder is Harry's Empath abilities are the key to defeating the Indicendi curses.

    I can't wait for more!

It's really scary how powerful your Voldemort is...he is a formidable villain indeed.

I love the relationship between Dumbledore and Severus, and they are planning to help Harry together. And yes, Severus is absolutely right; Harry needs to sleep and rest or else he's going to go insane.

Filius and Minerva are wonderful here, too.

    Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Thanks :) I'm glad you liked it.

Sequel to Days We Learn From. Severus, Harry and Draco are starting to establish their new normal, when day to day life is changed drastically once more thanks to a slight mix up involving a few potion samples. All of this leaves Severus dealing with a new troublemaker, the one he used to be! De-aged to six years old, he's a handful and half to deal with, and his adopted sons, Harry and Draco, will never let him forget it!

Title: Chapter 2: Harry's Brother and the Great Cupboard Ambush 05 Feb 2011
Reviewer: Kristeh (Signed)
Great story! I'm glad you decided to write a sequel. I've enjoyed seeing Harry and his new family make plans for the summer and work to fix up the house. I especially enjoyed the trip to Grimmauld Place, Sirius' jealousy (very realistic and I hope he can learn to see that Molly is right), and how the Weasleys are accepting Draco, in their own unique way, lol. It was even better that Fred and George made Harry 'a special case' and that Draco was so protective of his brother.

But no...what a cliffhanger to end on! Severus needs to get out of there! I hope he'll be all right; his boys need him.

    Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Wow, thanks for the lengthy review! I'm glad you liked the scene with Sirius. Poor Draco still has to impress Ron though ...

Seven year old Harry Potter is the proverbial ugly duckling; small, scrawny, scruffy and (thanks to Dudley Dursley) solitary. However, one day Harry discovers, in a lonely clump of weed, this beautiful black swan … Entrant in the 2011 Fic Exchange. Written for Bil.

What a beautiful story, Morgana! I wish that Harry and Severus could have reconciled in life, but it was a perfect bittersweet ending. I love Severus as a black swan...very original too! I only wish there were more!

Author's Response: Thanks ^^: although the story is very sad, I think the tragedy does rather suit the 'fairytale' theme. I'm glad you liked my idea for Severus' animagus form.

Snape finds out that he can’t take points from Gryffindor on Harry’s account anymore. Entrant in the 2011 Fic Exchange. Written for Morgana.

What a lovely story! I'm so glad that the three of them can be a family now, and from the beginning, too. I loved how close Draco and Harry were, and how protective Draco was.

This would make a wonderful beginning for a longer story, too! Great job!

Rather than allowing Harry to stay at Diagon Alley after he blew up Aunt Marge, the Ministry sends Harry back to the Dursleys. Harry returns to school after a terrible summer, to find that he's not the only one with this kind of secret. A student has been killed by his family. New screening measures are put into place by the Ministry: Every student must be given a medical exam and interview to look for child abuse. With Dumbledore facing an inquiry, Snape is entrusted with the task of making sure EVERYONE receives one.

What a lovely chapter! I like the 'ghosts' appearing. How terrible that Abraxus Malfoy contributed to Eileen's death, and I hope that James will apologize to Severus. Can't wait to read more!
