- this is quite honestly one of the most well-developed snape/harry stories i've ever read. i love how you didn't make them insta-loving, as most people tend to do, and kept snape in character. your plot is good and has no holes i can find. keep updating, it's so good!

- AGH! A cliffhanger!!! I think it's interesting how you foiled the reactions of Hermione and Ron against each other...I though Hermione would act like it was good for him. But this chapter was really pleasing, thanks.

- i'm really liking this. it's hitting a point that j.k didnt outright state from the get-go (in fact, it was left out until the very end of the series--- in case you couldnt figure it out, i'm speaking of Snape's protection of Harry)
though the plot seems unstable (haha, plotless stories r the best, cuz they can go in any direction...unless that's not what you want) but, yeah, i like it and am so glad you're deciding to keep it going.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! As for the direction of the plot, I'm only on the fourth chapter, and I've got a lot more planned for it. The next couple of chapters should bring everything a bit more together. I happen to be a fan of stories that keep you guessing, so I suppose that is what is coming across in my fic. I'm glad you're enjoying it, though :)

- It's brilliant. I love how depressive Lily is, and Harry is adorable. But I hate that he threw the unicorn horn into the lake...I really hate that part. But it's your story, so whatever. You're doing a great job, and it's pretty funny.

After the Dobby incident at the beginning of the second book, Harry runs away, and Snape kidnaps him. In an old-fashioned house with no comforts and a huge black dog, Harry finds himself at Snape's mercy as Snape plays mind games and makes Harry live through different scenarios. Though Snape seems crazy and psychotic, Harry begins to see reasons behind Snape's sporadic behavior.
There is corporal punishment, but it is different from what I've written before. This is a Mean!Snape story for the most part. If you're looking for a cuddly story, go elsewhere please.

- gah. this is probably one of my favorite stories ever. mostly i write about snape as a double character that is nice, but sometimes it's nice to see him be the jerk he was intended to be. i hope you can update soon
