    Hi! Really pleased to see there was an update. :) I just quickly read over the last few chapters too. I really like how Snape is becoming and how Harry is just starting to notice some of how Snape is changing. That is the best.

    A great oneshot! I loved the suspense as the snowball sped towards Snape. The snowballs flying back at Harry reminded me of a fantastic comic strip I found on deviant art - is it related? I also liked the idea of Snape being able to relax, having been freed from his duties as spy.

    This is really different and great. I think maybe Harry and Severus came together a bit too quickly during chapter one and between the first and second chapters their relationship seemed to jump quite a bit, but I guess time had passed. Harry's certaintly interesting - the fact that he's so dark, but still fighting for the cause of the light - but I think more importantly, that he cares when he hurts or kills someone. That keeps him true to the book. Having the young basilisk was cute! And I agree with the idea of a funeral - there is only a body left. Thanks for writing. x

    I like the choice of words you keep using: like, 'but when he did Gryffindor’s standing dropped rather significantly.'
    And the idea of Harry seeing Snape being caring was a good one.
