    You have a most intriguing and well-devised story here. I am looking forward to reading the next chapter. THere are a few spots where your choice of words is a little awkward but it is not so distracting that it interferes with me reading the story. I think you are doing very well since English is not your first language. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story with us native English speakers. I have taken 4 years of German in school but I don't think I could possibly write a story in German that would be readable. So bravo and here's a box of virtual chocolate frogs!

    Wow! You packed a lot of stuff in this chapter! I'm not usually one to bash characters but your Ron has to be one one of the most jealous, angry and sociopathic people I've ever read about. If this what he does to his friends I don't want to know what he would do to an enemy. Your Snape is wonderful and a far better teacher than I ever gave him credit for. I look forward to reading the next chapter.

    I liked this very much. You handled the "what if" scenario excellently and you had me reaching for the kleenex several times. I also was ready to wring Augusta Longbottom's neck. Severus was perfect, of course.

    I know this is a one-shot but I think you have the potential for a couple of follow-on fics, like Neville wanting to go to Alice and Frank at St. Mungo's and say goodbye or a conversation between Harry and Neville as they both try to come to grips with the situation.

    You definitely deserve a huge Bravo! for this fic.
