- I don't know why I hadn't found your story before now, but I'm glad I did. This first chapter is so well-written. I really like how you get into HArry's head. I did find one quibble. HArry's birthday is July 31st so he'd have four weeks till the beginning of classes, not one. Not to worry though. That didn't interrupt my immersion in the tale nor my enjoyment. On to Chapter Two!

- I am so glad to have found this story. I thin I may have said that in an earlier review but it bears repeating. I love the way Severus and Harry's relationship is developing and in a way that they are both still in character. Are you going to tell us what the signs that Harry uses to refer to Severus are? I have my suspicions but at this point in time they remain only that.
I look forward to the continuation of this wonderfully written story.

- This is such a lovely piece of writing. Definitely AU but somehow, I'm not surprised that Severus would know how to knit. It's a practical skill, like sewing and anyone who may have come from an economically straitened household would learn sich things in order to keep clothes and such in repair. Then later on I can see Severus using it as he does here as a focus for occulmency. I think the biggest error canon Snape made in regards to teaching Harry is to forget that it is much easier to focus on a specific thing rather than think of nothing. The wool yarn and the action of knitting is perfect for this as it involves almost all the senses; the feel, look, and even smell of the yarn, the sound of hte knitting needles, the pattern of stitches... simple and complex at the same time. Actually, that is a good desription of Severus, isn't it? Maybe that is why I have no problem with the idea of him sitting there knitting.
Am I correct in my assumption that any use of magic would have brought the Deatheaters down on them?

- I am looking forward to the continuation of this saga. The premises of the Aspidis and of how Severus fathered Harry/Horris are some of the most original ideas I have come across in HP fanfiction, not just the Severitus challenge fics. The three-dimensionality of all the characters is wonderful and though I should have mentioned it in a review of Forlorn Hope instead of waiting until I finished this chapter, I had no problem whatsoever with the reasons you had behind Ron Weasley joining Voldemort. Everything you've done with this AU fic is connected so well to things in the original books; so much so that I never once found my suspension of disbelief falling.
A wonderful job and I gladly add you to my list of favourite authors. I am going to recommend this series to my many HP friends and I hope that you find yuorself getting many more positive reviews.

- Are you going to carry on with this story? I think it is an intersting idea and I want to know what it is that Harry is researching and what has turned him into someone even snarkier than Snape. You have a good writing technique and it was a pleasure to read something free of spelling and grammar errors that flowed well.
