I read and write Harry Potter fanfic.

My current fic is being posted at http://imuptonogood.livejournal.com, and is a Post DH story following Harry, Draco, the Weasleys, and a few others, after DH (ignoring the epilogue).  It is canon compliant, but I managed to rescue Snape.

 I am an omnivorous reader when it comes to Harry Potter genres, but I prefer those where Harry and Snape can reconcile... eventually.

    I was waiting for Harry to say "but it thought it was a BOY cat," when Severus said the cat's name was MISStopheles.

    I'm trying to work on more chapters, if someone would cooperate and not throw other story ideas at me... *glares at plot bunnies as they peer around a box* Anyways, I'm trying to come up with some more stories about them, but it may be a little while. ;-}

    I'm afraid this one is just too AU for me. I like tension, challenges for Harry and Severus, and it just seems too easy for them (Harry is too smart and powerful--any fic that has all those titles just seems over the top, and then I expect it to be a farce/comedy, which this is not.) I also find that what draws me to Severus and Harry interaction is the slow overcoming of the past, finding common ground, and growing closer gradually.

    The writing is good, but the plot choices are not my cuppa.

    Good luck with the story.

    I can see Snape's facade breaking under this pressure... of course I have also seen him turn to fury in similar situations.

    Definite interest here! I'd love to see Harry and Incognito Draco learning to become friends, as well as Harry and Severus learning to get over their dislike, especially working together to end the war.

    I love an in-character Snape, and hope you will not soften him too fast, but I do also love (slow) reconciliation.

    Yeah? I'm happy to hear that. Severus will do as much as he can to help Harry, but right now he doesn't really know what exactly he's dealing with. I know, Harry isn't dark, it's not really who he is...but right now he's confused and taking comfort in anything that comes his way. There is still a long way to go with this journey.

    This story is exactly what it should be. Very well done. You have the OCD down perfectly; it is a disease I can see Severus getting, especially after everything. Harry is gentle and firm and grounded. Oh, so very lovely.

    The funny thing is, I was about to post a challenge of adult Severus goes back in time / is deaged to be a contemporary of Harry. And now, you do it! I want to see a lot of stories like this, some with Snarky Severus, some with confused Severus, etc. But I love your light hearted approach. Adding to favorites, so I can read chapter after chapter.
