- One thought occurred to me- third year when Black broke into the Gryffindor dorms looking for Peter. If Black does the same here, will folks assume that he was looking for Harry? And I just know that Black will be a bit upset at Harry being in Slytherin and being so friendly with Snivellous.

After the Dobby incident at the beginning of the second book, Harry runs away, and Snape kidnaps him. In an old-fashioned house with no comforts and a huge black dog, Harry finds himself at Snape's mercy as Snape plays mind games and makes Harry live through different scenarios. Though Snape seems crazy and psychotic, Harry begins to see reasons behind Snape's sporadic behavior.
There is corporal punishment, but it is different from what I've written before. This is a Mean!Snape story for the most part. If you're looking for a cuddly story, go elsewhere please.

- Ooo... I can see why Snape's voice is strangled sounding- Harry could be facing some serious toxicity issues.
Plus those plants he just trampled- what about the sap of those plants? Belladona, Foxglove and Nightshade are often associated with witchcraft, did Snape have those in his garden? What if they are mixed with the poison ivy sap now?
Darn, now you've got me googling poison ivy overdose. I've also gone to a yahoo group, Fanfic med, to ask them about poison ivy overdosage problems.
Oh, yeah, Snape could be in real deep doo-doo. Caring for a child suffering from toxicity issues, and he's hiding Harry's presence in his house from Dumbledore. Would Harry be recovered enough from the toxicity problems when school starts?
Not surprised about Harry playing in the mud, all boys like to get dirty. And destroying Snape's garden is the sort of petty revenge that some boys would engage in. Along with flinging mud at the windows. Very pre-teen boy behavior. I'm sure 11 year old Snape would have done the same.
Snape kidnapping Harry is also very petty. I'm sure that if Snape had asked Dumbles about Harry staying at Spinner's End I'm sure Dumbles would have said okay. In canon Dumbles was always trying to get Snape to see Harry as Harry (or at least as Lily's son) as much as he kept trying to get Harry to trust Snape. One wonders how things might have gone if the two had at least trusted each other. (They wouldn't have had to like each other.)
Should I also mention that Snape's vertiserum incident also very petty. Those two are pretty similiar sometimes. Not sure Harry and Snape would like to be compared.

- Harry is thinking like a muggle. He's forgetting about wizardspace! If a tent can have multiple rooms inside, then surely he can have a few rooms magically added to the old Black house. Maybe Kreacher could help Harry here.

And I still love the interaction between Alastor and Severus. Those two keep that up and someone is going to get doubly hexed for talking about UST! lol!
As always, I love Snape's lines.
Also did like that Lucius found out that Narcissa and Draco are safe. That's one thing good about Lucius, he was a loving father, even if he did believe in hurting people.
