- just to put your mind at rest, i am really enjoying this fic and to my mind who cares how many reviews other stories are getting, just keep this fic as good as it is now. snapes and harrys chat in the yard was brilliant and i'm with harry about hermione, i wish she would just butt out and leave harry alone

Thank you. I am glad you're enjoying the fic. I know I shouldn't care about the number of reviews, but when you are the writer, you so have to wonder what you are doing wrong.
Anyway, it's my problem, but I thank you for your support. As for Hermione...I admit she does drive me demented (she did in canon)but you can't deny that she has Harry's best interests at heart. She really does worry about him. I do hate the way she is always right though when very often, she isn't.
I hated the way she kept at Harry to block his visionsin DH, and berating him for not learning occlumency.
Anyway, enough Hermione bashing. Until next time,

- great chapter and i think harry and ginny will work out there problem with abit of time, severus was a surprise, as i didn't think he would openly hug harry in front of everyone, the younger weasleys will be spitting blood

Thanks for your review. And yes, HArry and Ginny will be OK.
Sev had to come to a decision about letting the Weasleys in on his and Harry's relaionship, and Harry's pleading and DD's urging finally pushed him to this.
Ron will of course overreact but hopefully he will eventually settle. Ginny already knows there was something going on because of the argument she heard between Harry and DD after the Godric's Hollow incident.

- that was great, i'm glad severus and harry were able to communicate better and sorted some stuff out, harrys owl scores were great and i'm glad harry can do potions. the surprise that severus has given harry by bringing hermione and ron to visit is awesome
Author's Response: Thank you! Yep, Harry will in Potions class next year. Severus is still jealous, but he has also realised that Harry truly needs his friends, so Severus is going to try to accept them. Glad you liked it!

Author's Response: Thanks! Yes, it was good for Harry to get out, have a relaxing time with his friends, just like any other kid. Back close to the beginning, there was a part where Ron had invited Harry over, and Harry had to write back and say no, and he feared that he wouldn't get to see his friends anymore, so I wanted to show that that isn't happening, that Severus is trying really hard to give Harry what he needs, including his friends, even if it's hard for Severus himself. Thanks again!

- great chapter, glad the train ride went safely and without incident. what has come over draco, has he been ostracised from the slytherins by severus, has draco got to do whatever severus tells him, can't wait for the next update as this fic is certainly one of the great ones to read.

- what a great chapter, sev was a great source of comfort when harry blew up at him, harry did well in his second explaination and it seems sev has taken on board what harry said
