"Read Read me a story, pleeaze Dad" drawn for my Never Again story, by artist SnapesYukuai. Picture refers to the incident where Harry brings his stuffed panther Inky to life through accidental magic. This took place just before that.
During the summer before his third year at Hogwarts, Harry somehow ends up in a reality where Severus Snape is his father. AU, Sevitus — Includes Sirius!

- ha that was really funny. Sirius does not strike me as a gay man at all. Nope he strikes me as a kind of Don juan sort. it's nice to see that other people are concerned about Harry and not just wizards either.

- Aww warm fuzzies--I love it! Love the way these two interact here, it's so realistic.
I also like how you've prtrayed the Defense lesosns and how Sev explains why practice is so important when doing something dangerous! Practice makes perfect!! This is exactly what i stress when I write similar scenes in my fics.
Loved the bit about the black clothes, funny but that was the reason i called my story Some Good Guys Wear Black and made similar comments in it1 LOL!
The ending lines were great too, so beautiful! One of my favs & update soon!
Author's Response: Thank you! I enjoyed writing about the Defense lessons, and yep, there's just no substitute for practice. Sev knows that Harry will have to face Voldemort again one day, and he is determined that Harry will be prepared for it. I've seen your story, and it looks interesting. I'll try to read it, but might not have a chance before the weekend.

- Lord above, now this is really bad. Sometimes I wish the kid wasn't so darn impulsive, he should have at least let Sev explain before running off like that. Great job though and will we ever find out what Sev was brewing in there?
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, Harry is a bit impulsive, but canon Harry is too, and I do think he has a good reason to be upset. What was Sev brewing? You will find out soon, I think.

- Great chapter and I think it fits in with harry's impulsiveness plus there's nothing like nearly losing the one you love to put the past in perspective, where it belongs.

- Yay! I loved this part and I don't think it's out of character at all for Sev to cry, he does cry in mine as well, if you read Never Again or Hide Yourself Away. It'a normal reaction when faced with such emotion and it shows how strong he is as a man. I like it better when he cries, it makes him seem more human. Loved the last line too!
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I think Severus actually feels very deep emotions; he's just very good at keeping them hidden a lot of the time...probably because of the way he was raised. But everyone has a point where it can overwhelm them, and it happened here. Thanks again!

- Of course they would, I mean this is the modern age and stuff like that is around all the time. And in AU, you can give them what you want, remember? I though this chapter was very sweet and I'm so happy for both of them! They deserve to be a family.

- Yes and I love that Umbridge resigned, though I would've loved to see Sev and Tobias dismantle her, the evil old bitch! JK should've killed her. I loved the conversation between Harry and Sev though, it was perfect.

- That thing sounds really nasty, I don't know what the heck it is and it better be stopped soon. Between all of them, the professors and Tobias, they should capture it hopefully before it kills Minerva!
I can sympathize with harry, it's always hard to be forced to wait when something bad is going on!
