| I'm a teen from the U.S. Although I have yet to write my own Snape and Harry piece, I love reading them! My favorites are guardian pieces. I've written a lot of Lily pieces over at fanfiction.net under the name spinningleaves, and I've started to post my own original work at fictionpress.com under the penname waterleaves. Feel free to check them out! [Report This]

WHAT ON EARTH! THATS INTENSE! I loveeee this story! loveeee it! But I must admit to really not trusting our new potions mistress... and I still haven't forgotten the little fact that she knew everyone's first names in advance.. which made me think of Tonks. But naturally I'm not so sure about that now. Excellent story! I hope for an update when its convenient for you!
As Harry comes of age, he must discover the secret of how Voldemort cheated death and find a way to defeat this evil once and for all. Along the way, he will have to contend with Death Eaters, shadowy Ministry officials and suspicions that threaten to tear his own allies apart. And he will need to delve farther than ever before into the mysteries of the mind where victory can only be won by freeing the chained souls.

Wow. I dont even know what to say. Its taken me a few weeks to finish the story, and I am just completely in awe. So well thought out and planned, plot twists are planted and then don't have an affection until a dozen chapters later! And your last little history bit really is exactly the way I could imagine Harry spending his life. You've completed a truly excellent piece of work. I love the way you changed Snape but stuck to canon in the sense that you didn't make him suddenly morph into this cuddly teddy bear who wants to adopt Harry. Also, the idea of the insides of everyones minds was just pure genius! I would think woww I didnt imagine it would be like that but gee- it fits him perfectly! So well done. I could gush for a lot longer, but most of all you just have my complete respect for a job well done. This is exactly the standard to which fanfiction should be held. Congratulations on its completion!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the wonderful review. It's very gratifying when a reader appreciates details such as the management of plot twists. That does take planning. I'm glad that you liked all of the forays into people's minds. I loved writing all of those and they proved to be a great way to explore the characters personalities.

Not sure that I understood it all- but very complex and interesting. I enjoyed the way you bounced between time frames.

Aww. Really great piece. Such a strong opening paragraph that really feels incredibly genuine. Well done!
"Harry remained quite still for a moment, then hurled the mirror back into the trunk where it shattered."-Order of the Phoenix. Harry accidentally cuts himself on Sirius's mirror after breaking it. He then runs into someone unexpected, who has his own thoughts on the situation... Written for the "Accidental Cut Challenge"

Haha. Wow that was great. I especially love when Snape banishes the sharp objects from the room and Harry is just soo totally confused as to whats going on. Excellent! And congrats on finding the courage to write your first piece!
Sometimes to know you can do something, you must boost your confidence by doing something else, just to be sure about your skills. Harry needs the confidence after the death of his Godfather the year before, so what does he do in the kitchens? And how does Snape fit in all this? [Response to Hogwart's Kitchens challenge]

Veryyy interesting. The Hogsmeade piece was especially interesting. I also like how you moved away from having them experience the same literal experience, and instead just situations of the same like, emotional significance or magnitude? Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you, very much. It was a new type of writing that I thought I might like. Glad you enjoyed reading it and thank you very much for the great review!! :D.

Aww I really enjoyed it. Snape wasn't overly kind so that it would seem out of character, but he was very much doing the best he could by Harry. Well done!
Voldemort's forces are growing stronger and more organized. Despite warnings of this by the Order's spy, Harry Potter is captured. When he's rescued, will Snape be able to prove that he is useful as more than just a spy to the Order?

Oo interesting! Can't wait to maybe see some wizards chess moments between Snape and Harry! And it will be great to see how differently Snape conducts the lessons with a younger child whom he actually cares about! I'm excited!
Author's Response: Yeah, no doubt about it, that Occlumency will be a lot different this time around. Thanks for the review!
