Great ending fantastic story overall I enjoyed every moment of it. Once again you can take a bow I give you a standing ovation. Looking forward to your next masterpiece
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I really enjoyed writing this one. I do have plans for a sequel to this too.

This was a great one shot and I could see Harry doing something like that and especially not tell anyone not even Ron or Hermione what he was doing and not ever take credit for it.
Author's Response: Thank you. I know what you mean, Harry wanted to help because that's the type of person he is, but since he never asks for any praise for the things he does, and he's pretty certain Snape wouldn't want anyone to know anything, it seems right that he'd keep it all to himself. Besides, Ron probably wouldn't believe him anyway. ;)
Thanks again, and I'm glad you enjoyed this. :)

There is a special level of HELL reserved for people like Vernon and Petunia...I am happy that you had Dudley questioning Sev on Harry and the boy for himself showed some understanding and had a heart indicating that even though Dudley was spoilt there is a lot of good in the boy I hope that Sev (Albus or the wizarding world) have the two despicable adults arrested and that Dudley could go to a decent home where he could grow up to be a respectable young man. Poor Harry what was his aunt thinking what kind of heart or lack thereof does one have to cage a child like that, even if you think the child evil you would send them to a priest or something ... it would have been better if they had left him at an orphanage
Author's Response: The Dursley's punishment is one I haven't contemplated yet. I do know what happens to Dudley, but it may or may not set well with you. I can't help that, really. It makes a sort of sense in my story.

Sev is going to need to have a lot of patients and love... he is doing well so far but he is going to have to move slowly and carefully and remember that he is going to make mistakes like using the phrase 'not bad' but he just has to learn and not give up hope his task is a herculean one and there are many obstacles. There are going to be times when he has to be firm but there also would be times when he is going to have to be a teddy bear
Author's Response: Yeah, I like the bit about the word Bad because it shows that Harry has a grasp of language- words having meanings- at least in a primial sense (versus, like, dogs who mostly rely on voice tone. Harry doesnt)

I like a good Tobias and like that he seems to be a good strong muggle one that Dumbledore trust. However I found that Dumbledore should have had a long talk with Harry first; while it seems that Dumbledore knows Harry's story it might have been good if they spoke on it first it would have made Harry feel like he was given a choice and not being manipulated. Since this is completely AU I am disappointed like Minerva and Horace about Albus’ punishment for the marauders ... am sure Tobias could come up with an appropriate punishment for the boys
Author's Response: And who said he isn't going to get eveen with them? They have tormented his son for seven years. So just wait and see ^_^
From a prompt from Snapegirl: Setting end of GOF. Sirius must apologize to Severus for tormenting him during their childhood, the Shrieking Shack, etc. in front of Harry, who is Sev's ward, before Severus will consent to work with and forgive Sirius.

While Sirius went to Azkaban for a crime he didn't commit he is not entirely innocent he has committed many crimes as a schoolboy that were not just naughty pranks but one at least that could have resulted in some jail time – faith it seems has brought balance in the scales of justice. His apology while forced seems to bring about some peace which is good.
After DH, Harry is haunted. Literally. While awaiting resolution of an afterlife . . . clerical error, Snape mentors Harry as he aids the Reconstruction. The two that never understood each other in life now find death more conducive to communication.

I just love Snape after all that he wants to be cremated LOL. I could see Sev and Harry becoming great friends with Sev haunting Harry for a while perfect revenge
Author's Response: They'll most likely end up pretty close, even if they don't realize it's happening. Snape never really gave Harry a chance, but now they're pretty much stuck together. Like those survival games that help people bond. Only Severus has the advantage, since he can pop in whenever he likes. Thanks for your comments!

I like this story find that Harry is cute and I like Shadow. The Ministry is under attack well Sev better get back home and lock up make sure that no one can get to Harry
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it - don't worry, Sev shouldn't be too long, as he's only stuck his head in the Floo.
When 10-year-old Harry goes on an early morning shopping trip for Severus’s birthday present, he discovers a girl half-frozen in the snow in Diagon Alley. Little does he know that his encounter with the snow girl will change his family forever, for she harbors a secret past and a singular gift that could bring an enemy down upon them all unknowing. Tale partially based on “The Little Match Girl” by Hans Christian Anderson. Sequel to A Wolf in Winter, part of the Snowy Encounters series.

That was so good, but I thought Dumbledore would have taken away his magic (since he swore on his wand) and left him a squib. Was the hawk Malfoy? Good story
Author's Response: Well, you can't really take away an adult wizard's magic, but he did have him get killed . . .or did he? I'll leave you to guess. As for the hawk . . .you'll see.
Harry, Severus, Remus, Aria and Neil tour New Orleans on a relaxing getaway. But what starts out as a vacation quickly turns into something sinister, as the shadowy underworld of the Big Easy is revealed when The Midnight Society kidnaps the children to use in a ritual of darkest magic. Will feature vampires, voodoo queens, and shapeshifters, who have hidden for centuries down in the bayou, and could prove to be the most dangerous foes the Snapes have ever faced!

So happy to see the new story up, love these character. You have started with a bang literally. Poor little Mia and Rosie, but Mia has learnt the hard way. Harry is punishing himself more than his dad could; whatever punishment Sev gives him has to be firm enough so that Harry’s guilt will be alleviated.
Author's Response: yes, she has and I don't think she'll be touching anything down in the lab for awhile, poor thing! Harry is a wreck over this, but he will learn from it, and Severus senses this. You'll see what he says to Harry next chapter.
