Title: Chapter 3: Mistaken Conceptions

Dudley is turning out to be a real great "big brother" and Sev strangely seems to like him. I noted that Sev says that he will take Harry to a hospital and then he will have to find Albus but will it not be dangerous for Harry to be at a public (wizard) hospital where anyone could get him unless Poppy is there during the summer. But it might be good so they could officially document all the abuse that Harry has suffered. Anyway I guess I will find out next chapter. As a muggle born it should be no problem for Sev to take care of Dudley and it will be no different than a wizarding family who has a squib (which Dudley might be) and since Dudley also goes to a boarding school it should not be a problem when schools starts back. However Sev should get people like Mad Eye or Kingsley (aurors they trust) to arrest Vernon and Petunia and charge them otherwise Sev could be arrested for kidnapping Dudley.
Author's Response: Reviewers like you make my life more interesting. You bring up points which I hadn't necessarily thought of yet... and some that I had thought of, but I hadn't worried about as much. I appreciate it. Your advice makes it so that I will look at the story from all angles and make sure to address everything. The thing you mentioned about St Mungo's is a good thing to note- I had forgotten about the dangers, but one guy was killed by Devil's Snare at St. Mungo's, so I guess it's not completely out of the question. Thank you for reading, for reviewing, and especially for your thoughts. I do a lot of writing but until I discovered fanfiction nobody ever read my stuff so it was hard to improve. :))

As usual the Vernon is making a pig of himself (he did not need any help from Dobby) and Petunia is just awful but I think Dudley just like any teenager just wants to explore and have fun in a magical castle I mean what child wouldn't want to. Snape and Harry both need time in a naughty corner LOL, but I'm sure they would soon become friends as Snape would not stand for any abuse of any child and with the Dursleys there he might have to protect Harry again and again, and Harry spending time with Snape might let him tolerate him more but as he protects Harry the boy would look to him more In order to find Dudley all Harry has to do is take out his Map.

I just love those two and the Marauders really had a perfect test to find future Marauders. I am guessing that the reason the map is faltering is because it is sensing that Harry is not a Potter but a Snape (I bet Petunia knows more than she is letting on)
Author's Response: Thank you! The explanation of the flickering map and the start of the actual "Severitus" reveal will be coming up very soon! I've devised a unique reason for why Harry looks just like James, so I hope you will continue to enjoy this fic! There is something I really wanted to do with Petunia, but I'll have to see how it works logistically :)

This was so beautiful, sniff sniff I love it, I keep hearing the song in my head while I read...just love that song one of my favs
Author's Response: Aaw, thanks Keats! I'm so glad you like it! And wow, it's beautiful? I'm so flattered! Thank you! And isn't the song great? One of my faves too: right up there with the theme song 'Phantom of the Opera'. Actually, that's what Snape was playing: 'Phantom'. You'll find out why next chapter. Well, thanks again! You're the greatest! Kisses and Coffee for reviewing! -Elise
A summer road trip through Muggle America comes to a halt when the car that Ron, Hermione, and Harry have purchased breaks down. Walking to the nearest gas station, Harry encounters the last person he thought he ever wanted to see…and his 1987 Camaro. But there’s a side to Severus Snape that no one knows about: a free riding rebel that would rather don older rock tees than robes and still breaks rules wherever he can. Little do they know it, but the Golden Trio is in for one hell of a summer. - Summer after sixth Year - Non-HBP and DH compliant
Takes Place: 7th summer

I am so happy that Harry is OK, am sure he is very shaken but he is OK. The two boys Lonnie and Paul were great it shows that there are good samaritans out there and not all of them look like clean cut church going boys – what I like about it is that they asked for no reward or even recognition they did it because they realised that Harry was in trouble. For Harry it would reaffirm that there are good people /muggles out there – not only the two boys but the police as well. However it would also remind him to be cautious as there are also predators and bad people out there who don’t wear DE masks.

I noted that Petunia actually expressed sorrow that the twins may die, which indicates that in some small way she does love them or at least have some positive emotional feelings for them. Love the fact that they got letters of acceptance from the other magical schools as well. I hope that whoever comes to get them lets them buy extra clothes (normal every day wear), proper shoes, books of interest etc

I fitting tribute to James but I notice you did not hesitate to plug in a good word for Sev, making sure everyone knew that he is also a hero...looking forward to more
Author's Response: yeah, I couldn't resist letting everyone know that the Master Healer does more than just take care of patients. Actually all of them were heroes, because they all worked together to bring down Voldemort.
