After the Dobby incident at the beginning of the second book, Harry runs away, and Snape kidnaps him. In an old-fashioned house with no comforts and a huge black dog, Harry finds himself at Snape's mercy as Snape plays mind games and makes Harry live through different scenarios. Though Snape seems crazy and psychotic, Harry begins to see reasons behind Snape's sporadic behavior.
There is corporal punishment, but it is different from what I've written before. This is a Mean!Snape story for the most part. If you're looking for a cuddly story, go elsewhere please.

- I loved it! It's so neat that we get to start seeing the inner workings of Snape's mind. I like how Harry feels secure when Snape spanks him-- that's interesting. It's easy to see how they can need one another.

- I love it! Poor Harry is so conflicted. He doesn't want to get punished but he wants the love and attention he gets afterwords.
All I could think while I read it was "This kid will be the death of me :)"
Snape punishes Harry for the debacle at the Shrieking Shack, and gets far more than he bargained for.

- Very good. I like the balance between abused Harry and defiant Harry. Snape is nicely IC as well.

When Harry dies as an old man, his hated childhood professor is the one who comes to take him to the after-life. Can the unlikely pair finally understand each other in death? And what if they're not actually dead?

- Adorable! Snape is so IC, and Harry does seem sort of eleven.
It wasn't that hard. Write an essay about what he had done wrong- surely Potter could not fail at something so simple.
