As far as Harry knew, it was all some sort of experiment that only Dumbledore could understand. He had no idea that the cat he had been given to keep him company instead of Hedwig over the holidays before his 3rd year, was in fact, his hated Potions Master in disguise.
Because of the Azkaban escapee, Sirius Black, Severus is sent to stay with Harry during the entire summer, never making a sound nor leaving the boy's side. He could not speak, nor could he defend Harry against anyone other than the criminal on the loose, however Severus does something that no other adult in Harry's life had done before...he listened.

Albus Dumbledore was a master manipulator. He knew what was best, and he knew how to get it, and how to get you to accept it. He always had the last say, and always got his way, which would eventually become your way (whether you liked it or not). And sometimes, sometimes, you wouldn’t even know that you had been manipulated.

Welcome to the witch-hunt. Anything can happen when Harry and Snape are transported back in time to an area in Scotland where the witch-hunt is in full swing. Getting back to their time isn't the biggest issue: it's staying away from the ropes in the square.

- I think it's great, and I can't wait to see where it goes. The summary definitely drew me in. The only suggestion I have is to get a beta or read it out loud to yourself before posting, because there are a lot of grammatical errors where you left a word out here or there and it makes the sentence hard to read through. Another suggestion is to pay attention to how Snape talks. He often doesn't use contractions... example he would say I will not, instead of I won't. Some of the time in this chapter he sounds just like Harry.
Other than those things I think it's really good so far! Update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks for the tips! I didn't realise there were that many errors, as I don't know anyone who likes HP to to edit. I never noticed that Snape doesn't often use contractions so thanks a lot for pointing it out! I will keep that in mind. Thank you for the imput! :)

Author's Response: That would be interesting, but who would believe an eleven year old kid like Harry? I mean, both he and Snape stick out like a sore thumbs, as they aren't from the time. Anyways, thank you for the review!

- I love it. If I were Harry or Snape I would ask the judge to clean the pin with the same wet cloth and then prick McTavish or any other member of the court or person in the room, and then they would see that McTavish is the wizard and he's using it against anyone who he doesn't like. Or at least that's what Snape or Harry could say.
Author's Response: Yeah, that is smart, but unfortunately McTavish split them up to make it so much harder for them. Not ot mention, who would believe a bunch of "witches"? Clever idea!

- Very interesting. I'm not sure I like Harry as a girl yet, but I do like Silence as a character and I enjoy your writing very much. One thing though: you have picked such a beautiful and unusual name for her that I would like to read Silence not Si.
