Sirius and Severus are both fairly possessive of Harry - that's a good recipe for conflict. And, you've taken Crabbe in an interesting direction. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with these issues. But (sigh) my kiddos just got home, so no more reading for me... Nice chap.
Author's Response: Aww too bad, but maybe you can read some more tonight or tomorrow! That's true of both men and one of the reasons why they're fighting so bitterly. The other reason is, of course, old wounds and past rivalries.

This was a great read. Well written, nicely paced, and believable. Glad to hear there's a sequel in the works. It'll be great to see where the relationship goes after this. Thanks for the writing. :)
Author's Response: Thanks and hope you like the next one-Two Hawks Hunting.

Author's Response: Thanks and their relationship will improve, save for a few minor setbacks, in the sequel.

This was great - compelling and well-written. I'm really glad to hear that you're going to write more on this story...
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm making up for not extending "Between".
Still reeling from the revelation that they are father and son, Harry and Snape are suddenly thrust together, when they are forced to reluctantly participate in Hogwarts' first Father and Son's Day; a scheme thought up by the manipulative Albus Dumbledore. Will Dumbledore's plan to bring Harry and Snape closer, backfire, or will father and son finally begin to understand and care for each other? Entry in the 2009 Challenge Fest. In Response to the Father-Son Day at Hogwarts Challenge by JMGodfreyIII.

Really nice - especially the ending. It captured the tone of Harry and Severus' relationship very nicely. Great story!
Author's Response: Thank you. I hope that it wasn't too rushed, but I think that being thrown together in such close proximity like that made the forced interaction push them further along than they would be normally.

I like that Harry has a bit of vulnerability around him, but it's not overdone. Nice work.
Author's Response: Yeah, it's hard to strike a balance between him being abused and not getting too graphic about it. Thanks.
