After nearly freezing to death outside his relative's home, little Harry is rescued by first a spirit and then a snarky git! The adventure isn't over yet though, as Snape soon realizes that his charge's problems aren't limited to just frostbite.

- OK! How have I not read this one? I know I read the first one, and I went back and checked the reviews and was COMPLETELY flabbergasted when I saw I didn't review this one. And I had liked the beginning so much, even before I found out (or realized or remembered) who you were. Now that I see what you mean about the first chapter and what you've laid out here, I WANT YOU TO HURRY UP AND UPDATE!!!! This is awesome. I want answers too! I need to know where this is going!!! So I'll be checking back here frequently. Just so you know. I love Abe, by the way.
Author's Response: Thanks. I love Abe too, so I just absolutely had to add him into this story. I'm trying to write more but it's kind of hard without a working computer...so it might take me a little while but I will eventually be able to write more!
AU. Time Travel. Snape goes back in time, holding the knowledge of what is to come if he fails. No longer holding a grudge, he seeks to shape Harry into the greatest wizard of all time, starting on the day Hagrid took Harry to Diagon Alley.
