Following the death of Sirius, Harry isn't sure what to make of the sudden appearance of a six-year-old boy. The pair form a bond, unaware they're half-brothers, and Harry decides to take the boy to Hogwarts and hide him there. To aide the boy's education, Harry anonymously exchanges letters with Snape.

A story of a how a young boy becomes a father-figure to another while their own father is oblivious of their biological existence. But can sixteen-year-old Harry give what he himself has not gained? Can he go an entire year without being discovered? Just how far will Severus go to find the writer of those letters...Or are some things best left unknown?

    interesting twists and turns. I am wondering "how long" on a lot of issues at this point. How long 1)can they keep toby a secret, 2)until Sev knows he has 2 sons, 3)unitl the boys know they are related, 4)until the "real" disasster(you know one has to be coming) happens. I am really enjoying your story--and to me these types of questions are good, as they keep me wondering.

    Oh my! the plot thickens. So Remus "Knows" something about harry's questionable parentage. . .or at least Siri did and spilled the beans. Sev won't even consider it and now Harry knows "something" is odd about the little group. This certainly looks like a real recipe for trouble. Now throw Toby in the mix and watch sparks fly!

    Author's Response: Indeed, it does. Remus has chosen to believe what Sirius has suggested, which will be taken into more detail soon enough. Severus won't consider it...YET, and if the man's not careful Harry might know before he does, hehe. Not sure yet, but it would be a bit funny. And yes, trouble is brewing, so to speak.     Oh my! Now Sev will have to consider the possiblities--So how did "it" happen and when did Lily "change her mind" about the "daddy"?

    Yes, I do see a stronger resimblance to Sev when Harry is as moody as he was in this chapter. So is Sev moody because he knows he is missing out on things as well. . .
