- This is very good. I like your descriptions of the house and Harry unpacking all his wordly goods. So Snape is Papa to 9 kids! I am reminded a little bit of "The Sound of Music."

- I had to pinch myself when I saw you updated, 'cause I love this story so much. There is such a casual ease to each section in the chapter. Little peaks into Harry's day-to-day life that are so real and smart and unforced. I love your writing.
I look forward to the next chapter. you even got me into a Christmas spirit, and it's Easter tomorrow! I wonder how Harry did with his grades. Hopefully no Trolls. ;-)
Harry receives a very special gift on his 16th birthday that leads him to the help he needs...Snape is finding respite from his growing pressures and discovers one in need of help. Despite himself, he finds he CAN grow close to another living being. Only..."everything would've been so much simpler if it'd actually been a cat"...

Snape is left dying in the Shrieking Shack after giving Harry his memories convinced that Harry is going to his death. When Snape dies, he is given a chance to send his soul backwards in time seven years to give Harry a chance for a better (and hopefully longer) life. Will switch back and fourth between being Snape centered and Harry centered.

- Nice job! You pretty much had to summarize the entire 7th book! It is a very good summary, too.
Author's Response: Thanks. I'm going to have to do something similar in another story I'm writting (its not going to be posted here due to lack of Harry/Snape interation) though it would be Dumbledore saying those things (he finds himself in a situation that he has no choice but to tell some people...). Hopefully I'll do a good job there as well when I get to it...
Snape punishes Harry for the debacle at the Shrieking Shack, and gets far more than he bargained for.
