“He is dead. I killed him."
Haha! What a way of explaining that someone who's been wracking Harry's life for almost two decades is dead. Go Snape! :)
Very nice.

Oh. Harry's very, er, candid. I really think it's more of a... girl thing to say "You take care of me, you love me." Ah, well. It's your interpretation of him, after all. :) And Snape's very self-deprecating. Heh. Thank God for Harry's big heart. I hope Snape won't torture himself (though, admit it, he deserves it) for too long. :P
Author's Response: Well, hey. I'm a girl. So there is my excuse. HA! Take that!

Oh, this is so, so, so lovely! Absolutely marvelous story! I love it! (Or did I already say it?) It feels very special in a Christmas-y kind of way. The fantastic island and all the beasts inhibiting it was brilliant, and I loved how Severus and Harry were brought together in that place.
A captivating, almost fairy-tale-like story! If I could, I'd give it twenty frogs. It's absolutely fabulous! Sorry to go totally gushy over it, but it really is a very, very nice story, full of tenderness and hope.
Thanks so much for sharing this!
Author's Response: Wow, I think I'm blushing. Thans so much for the kind words. I loved both Where the Wild Things Are and Harry Potter, and they meshed so well to bring Severus together with Harry. I'm glad you enjoyed it. T

This is so sweet and endearing. Loved the special tree and the way Severus gradually changed under its positive influence. A very heart-warming Christmas story. Thanks for sharing this!

Waaaaah! Translates to: more! Snape babysitting, well, baby Harry - how adorable. (Here me cooing?) I just love the way you bring out the better qualities in Snape. Very nice.

Such a sweet story (and just a little bit bittersweet). :) An easy and captivating read; you got me hooked the whole time, even though it was more or less predictable, that Snape would give Harry something of his mother's. Nonetheless, it was a lovely and heart-warming story. Oh and, Lockheart (especially his exchange with Snape) added the much needed splash of humour.
Thanks for the wonderful Christmas story! :)
Author's Response: So glad that you liked it. It took me FOREVER to get it to sound like how I wanted it, so I'm glad it came out alright. And yeah, not sure where Lockhart/Snape stuff came from, it just kinda came. lol Thanks so much for the review, an Merry Christmas to ya!! :)

Such a nice story. I'm still grinning as I write this review. The adults teasing each other and the interjections from all the children made up the perfect scene: enjoyable, funny and, above all, heart-warming. Thanks for sharing this wonderful Christmas story!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review!

Lovely. Snape gets a boy for Christmas, and the boy gets Snape for Christmas. :) Harry's a dear. Loved that you didn't go down that "poor, traumatized Harry, the Dursleys were mean to him" road. :) Very enjoyable and light-hearted story. Thanks for sharing!
