Author's Response: Thank you! Thank you! This was the first time I've ever written that pairing and it was an experiment.
Sev, Lily, and Harry are trying to live as a happy family, running an apothecary in Diagon Alley, after Lily divorced James years before. But James keeps trying to sabotage their relationship out of petty jealousy and tries to get custody of Harry by badmouthing Severus and attempting to ruin his reputation, using all his money and connections to do so. Author's Response: Well, this is a part of my Never Again series so yes, Lily did die in it, but at least we got a glimpse into a happy moment between them and Harry. Thanks for reading and Lily won't die in Apothecary.

- I will freely admit that Part 2 left me traumatized from Severus' death as well. I have had nightmares about Severus dying three times since I saw it a week ago.
I /really/ liked this. So bizarrely in character, when it seems like it should be OoC.
I've decided that Severus is quite alive in cannon, and anyone who says otherwise in wrong. ('Cause I don't think I can handle him pretending to be dead. *sniffle*)
