- Another wonderful chapter. You just can't resist a "cliffee" can you? LOL No slavery spell showing......interesting, love cures all things! It was nice that and sad when Harry realized that the adoption could have happened anytime in those past months with only Dumbledor with them to do the bonding......as humans we learn by our mistakes!!!! Thank you for a great chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks, Ali. Of course I can't resist a cliffhanger; it keeps things interesting, doesn't it? Yeah, Dumbledore could have done the ceremony all along, but I had to have a reason to prolong the situation so I had to have them just not think about that. Rather a weak point, but it was the best I could come up with.

Who would have thought to bring Sirus back from the veil only to have him die a short time later because he loved Harry so much he couldn't allow Severus to die? Bella not kissed but killed by Severus, wcked.......thank you for such a great story. Now on the the next one!

Response to Burned Hedwig Challenge... After blowing up his aunt, Harry's uncle abuses him farther than his mental capacity can stand. Even his cousin is concerned, and sends a letter by way of owl "To Whom It May Concern" pleading for his cousins sake for help. But Harry needs more than to be taken from his family. He needs to gain the will to live.

- Just found your story this weekend. I have really enjoyed it. You have a wonderful, refreshing style of writing. With your youth, you have the of the kids down. Poor Severus, live will never be the same again, Wesley's are in his life. Question, I browsed through your other stories as well. Great work there as well. Have your older works been abandoned or do you hope to update them? Thanks for a wonderful read.

lolz! My creative writing teacher says that I am good at writing "teenage boy interactions". I think it's a mix of the youth and the fact that I have three older brothers. I hope I won't lose that with age, though.
As for my older works... Thirteen Is a Strange Age for All isn't abandoned, per se-- I still think that I might get back to it at some point in time, when I'm a little less busy--but it's not really in the works. The others, however-- Evan, Lost Boy, and Burnt Out-- are all still very much in the workings. Sorry if future chapters suck, though. I was sick for a chunk of time this past year and my updates were so irregular that I fear my betas gave up on me :). No worries, though. I'm sure y'all will tell me if I write something awful.
