Summer after fourth year is finally over, and things are not as expected when Harry makes it back to the magical world. Badly broken and determined for it to stop, Harry turns to, surprisingly, a certain Potions Master, who in turn finds within himself, of all places, a heart still beating and waiting to love, and be loved in turn.

- I love Neville. Go boy! About time he stood up to that grandmother of his. I feel sorry for him too, My relationship with my grandmother was sort of like his with his parents. I didn;t know her well enough to know how to feel when she died. Sad but true in a lot of families. Thanks for the update!

- I spent this afternoon and this evening rereading your story! Have so so enjoyed it. Loved this chapter. But why does Severus remind me of a "TV preacher?" I can just imagine the uproar in that common room when three Griffs walked in. Oh I so want to know about his plan..........update soon.

- I've been playing catch up reading this weekend. Only thing to do in a hospital emergency waiting room wait for my son to come out of surgery. Your story helped pass the six most stressful hours in my life. I had started your story when you first started writing in, then when I received a notification a month or so again it has been update, made sure to keep the email to go back and read it later. I'm caught up now. Thank you. I need a story like this to remind me, kids will be kids and will do stupid stuff, get hurt, and need their parents no matter what the age and the circumstanced! Thank you for getting me though the last three days.

- You have a very well written story here. How soon until Snape finally "wakes" up to the real Harry? Poor Harry. I don't like Nobby at all.....
Author's Response: Thanks for your review! The house-elf is one of those characters it's so easy to hate. Like a sneak peek of Umbridge. Snape won't be getting wise for a while . . . it's hard to say which chapter, since I haven't firmly decided on an overall length.

After the final battle, Harry goes back into Snape's memories. What he finds, shocks him and turns what should have been his happiest days, into a living hell.

This is my favorite line in this entire chapter!!!!! It's soooooo Severus!!! Wonderul, wonderful story. I missed being updated on the last two chapters so played catch up tonight. Good to see that Harry and Severus are "coming along" with each other so well......Can't wait for the next chapter. Oh, BTW, Ro is such a PRAT!!!! Poor Monie! Yea Ginny!
