About me:

Hello from good old Virginia! I am new to the Harry Potter fanfiction craze, despite liking the series for over two years now (yeah, I was a late bloomer in that sense).  I guess you could say that I like drama and the hurt and comfort fics best, though I read a lot of other genres as well. My favorite characters of "Harry Potter," are: Severus (duh), Hermoine, Harry, Remus and Luna. Ron is all right, but tends to annoy me.

 As stated, I'm from Virginia, and have a Southern twang...even for Virginia standards (I was at work and a customer asked me if I was from Tenessee or Georgia).

I have beta'ed several of other various genres and would gladly beta someone's within reasons.  Obviously, I would beta American English, but I am studying British English and am comfortable with it so maybe later.

    Author's Response: Glad you liked it, autumn! I enjoyed writing both perspectives of the snow globe (S&H), but I really loved getting Dudley in major trouble! And for once, his parents were required to take responsibility without being able to publicly blame it all on Harry, as they usually do. Yay!

As for "cute"-- I couldn't help feeling that everyone in the library kept staring at me tapping the period key over and over to make the elipses between Harry's letters! Ha! But at least they were interacting (as per the P&S requirements-- I literally HAD to come up with SOMETHING for the journey!).

    AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWESOME! You did a fantastic job, Shadow! I hope, I hope Harry never has to return to Privet Drive. A sequel....PLEASE??!?!?!?!?!?!!?

    Hehe I loved the little tie-in with the socks Harry always got to what Dumbledore told him at the end. That was really clever. :-)

This story was quite unexpected, but inspiration came from somewhere, and I got it done in the St. Nick of time! // Actually, I hadn't thought of doing a sequel, but the story is open-ended enough that it's possible to continue, if I ever get hit by lightning again! My problem is, I can't FORCE my writing, and this current bolt from the blue only took me this far. :-P Still, I'll keep it in mind for a rainy day! // And YES, I couldn't resist the socks!
