People don’t fit into labels, or neat little boxes. Can you ever say someone is really just smart, loyal, cunning, or brave? Never a mixture? Always a definitive line, thick and black, clean cut? No of course not. The sorting hat stops sorting. What effect will this have on Snape and a young Harry?

- aww that was cute. I like how Snape is being such a dad, even if he THINKS he's acting...though I'm sure he really felt the way he acted at Harry's/Elliot's seasickness. Poor little fella.
During the Durling Club it was discovered that Harry Potter could speak to snakes. Now everybody hates him, he has to travel everywhere with his friends in an attempt to keep him safe, and Professor Lockhart's behavior is becoming more and more disconcerning. Harry's second year is so horrible that the smallest acts of kindness mean so much to him. Enter Severus Snape and his penchant for keeping Harry safe.
