About me:

    I am a historian, archaeologist, and museum professional who specializes in Egyptology, ancient Greece, and the study of disability in the ancient world. I have been a fan of Harry Potter since the first book came out (I grew up with the series), and originally stumbled across this site while looking for some new Harry Potter fan-fics to read as it is one of my main sources of stress relief. If you can't already tell from my username Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and Sherlock Holmes are my other main obsessions. 

 Stargazing was written when I was an undergraduate at college. Since then I have been professionally published in the world of academia, and am currently working on a nonfiction children's book series and recently completed my PhD.

    All I can say is wow! Very well done, you got my attention and held on to it so much that I finished the entire three part series in two days and didn't get much of either of my term papers done. I really like you portrayal of Snape so much better than JKR's, and also liked your interpretation of Draco. I only wish Dursley had gotten punished a little bit more harshly for what he did, but at least he was punished. I'm sad that there isn't another story, but can understand why there isn't one. So again excellent job!

    Very, very funny, and very well done. I loved the idea of combining characters from two completely different stories/ series, especially the Batman series because now that I think about it, Snape and Batman are similar in a lot of ways.
    I'd love to see a sequel if you get around to it.

    Yay an update! Absolutely loved the scene with Crabbe and Goyle!

    I would like to point out that the song "Running up that Hill" by Placebo is actually a cover version of a song by the same name released by Kate Bush in the 1980's. So if you like Placebo's version give Bush's a try.

    I actually knew that Kate Bush sang that song, but unfortunately I like Placebo's version better. Kate's version while it is the original seems to slow to me, but then again that could be because I grew up with listening to Rock like Ozzy, AC/DC, etc. Thanks, though. :)

    Nice chapter!

    I couldn't help but notice is this line an anti-Twilight reference, or am I reading too much into it? If so, I absolutely loved it, and that made the entire chapter for me:

    "If I were you, Mr. Diggory," his father hissed a moment later, "I'd keep walking before that sparkly garbage you wear rubs off."

    Author's Response: Caught that, did you? :) I'll admit that I do like one thing from Twilight, and that's Jasper Cullen, but that's just because I was forced to see the movies and his actor seems really cool. Thanks for the review. Glad you liked it. :D

    I just reread this again, as it's on my favorites list and realized I never left you a review! :p

    This is one of the best stories on this site, and I love The Beatles aspects woven into it, and you once again had me in tears by the end. I also just discovered that it actually has several sequels which I also somehow missed so I will be checking those out now.

    I absolutely love this! I especially loved the various arguments that Harry and Snape got into in this chapter, in particular when dealing with their finances, and the goblin's remark about Snotter.
