- I think it's fantastic you included your comments on corporal punishment at the end of this one - and that this chapter didnt have any in it, not because I'm anti- or pro-spanking but because it wouldnt endear harry to snape any and i doubt hoppity would be capable of it ^^ - personally I agree as well, it's a bit too 'do as I say not as I do' which is a ridiculous way to teach creatures who intrinsically learn by example, but I'll shut up (you must be getting so sick of me commenting on everything, sorry ^^)
I love your slow progression of snape and harry's relationship and the fact that they both seem to have a commentary on their changing characters, it makes it much more realistic than the fics where they dont notice their own softening or whatever (Im not entirely sure that made sense... hopefully you know what i mean ^^)
One more chapter then I'll be waiting like everyone else, I'll say now that I cant wait 'til you update again but in the meantime I'm sure I'll reread this plenty, it's a truly wonderful fic ^-^

Oh I know what you mean. :) I believe that seeing the character growth and closeness from the character's perspective is important to truly believing the growth of the relationship. :)
Thank you for your comments on the cp note. I also believe that it would not help Snape and Harry grow closer. Not in this story.

- Aww this is just gorgeous so far and of course I have to keep reading but I just had to say you did Kathleen's 'helpful' talk about turbulence brilliantly, my nanny did the same to me with the 'up, down, up, down' the first time I went on a plane and I barely managed to escape without doing a Snape ^-^

- I couldnt not tell you how brilliant a writer you continue to be when you made me laugh so much with this:
the old coot would be less likely to bother him on a whim as the headmaster was wont to skip gaily along the halls the week before the students arrived, casting learning enchantments everywhere.

- I just love this: There was a reason Severus had always assumed Potter had been pampered at home – it was because, had Potter been placed in his care, that was what he would have done.
