| Greetings from Virginia! I began reading Harry Potter fanfiction in 2006, and P&S is my favorite site by far! As a writer, I just hope that my readers will enjoy my stories. I always appreciate it when people take the time to leave a review! My hobbies include reading (of course!), quilting, Star Trek (TOS being my fave series), and I've recently begun studying Esperanto online. I love cats, although I no longer have my own. But 26 cats have shared my life since I was a young child, and I have a plethora of wonderful, zany, and sometimes bizarre memories! (During the pandemic, I discovered a wonderful YouTube channel in Turkey--if you are a cat lover, please check out the "walter santi" YouTube channel and prepare to fall head over heels with numerous cats, plus Walter the dog! Santi is the white indoor cat.) Alan Rickman is forever in my heart. 🐢 [Report This]

Action to the max! I certainly didn't expect Mama to show up, tho' I had wondered where the egg had come from. Quite dramatic! And so cool that Skull could communicate with her, too. (And you managed to fit in a collie reference-- hee!) Boy, is Harry in for it now! Okay, that's my overview! But what I really liked in this chapter is the incredible detail you gave concerning the care of the egg, and feeding/caring for/raising Viviane. I hope the little one will be happy with her mum! :-)
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Yeah, gotta slip in those collie ref's when I can. I'm sure she will, after all that's where she really belongs and who knows, you might even see her again in this story! I have posted a new chapter, so now you can see just what Snape does to Harry. It's not going to be pretty!

WOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!! That was beyond AWESOME!!! I am always amazed by the stuff you come up with, and the last two chapters simply blew me away, especially the battle! Skull & Harry to the rescue! Now I'm hoping Severus, Dumbledore, and Lena will be okay after their various "draining" experiences. Bravo! *claps in delight at an incredible chapter*
Author's Response: Aww thanks so much! I just posted a new chapter so now you can see what happens! Let me know how you liked it.

Snape's revenge was awesome! I loved how it seemed to build on itself over time! And brilliant that Harry got to hear from the neighbors about how his relatives were suffering!

Ha! I just love that Skull wants to visit his EGGS! Chicks I could understand, but eggs?! That raven is too funny! Then again, I'm not a bird, so maybe my POV is too humanly narrow... // As for Dante, I can't wait to see how this new addition fits into the family. I sincerely hope that he and Harry won't end up at loggerheads. Not to mention Severus... *snickers*

Hee! This makes me yearn for the good old days of going house to house with black clouds scudding across the pale moon... Then, when I was "too old" to go T-or-T-ing, I discovered the joys of handing out treats to the neighborhood kiddies-- and the fact that I had a whole treasure trove of sweets at my fingertips! (My father only bought "good" candy, coz he didn't want to be stuck with "el cheapo" crap when Halloween was over! If he had to eat the leftovers, they had to be worthwhile!) I could snack between ghostly guests! Great little story to bring back all the memories! Thanks! *passes Ebb a Snickers bar"

This was truly unique throughout, especially given that Harry & Snape teamed up to fight Voldemort on his own ground, so to speak. Loved your presentation of dear Dobby (!), and terrific that he got "promoted" from the life of a regular house elf in the end. :-) Also, so sweet with Snape and Heaven in this final chapter-- far from being OOC, perhaps Snape is finally back IN character, hmm? Great job!

Amazing! From the fact that Snape just HAPPENS to have an antidote on hand to Pink Medusa, of all things! (has he been hit with these snakies before??!) to Harry getting through his Occlumency shields to project his own reality on Snape-- wow! VERY imaginative! And quite unpredictable! Well done! :-)

I just found this story when searching for a "Mystery", and WOW! You really kept me going! (I have to admit I'm guilty of reading it straight through!) In the beginning, I had no clue what was happening with Harry, and later feared he was already dead and in the afterlife. Your coma plot truly took me by surprise, but I found it very believable and well done. :-) I especially liked the positive interaction between Harry and Snape on the one hand, and Draco and Harry on the other. The entire sleepwalking aspect came across as very original, and the final forest fire as a catalyst for forcing Harry out of the coma was a touch of genius! But the epilogue-- how wonderful to get the Resurrection Stone working again to tie up some loose ends. Thanks for a terrific ride! I enjoyed this so much!
Author's Response: Oh my, what a treat to get such a long review after a story has been completed! Thank you so much shadow for taking the time to read and share with me your opinions! It was a difficult one to write, and I learned a great deal from it so I'm glad you took the time to share this, because it really was a journey for me as much as it was for Harry and Snape. Cheers!
In a small coffee shop in London, Severus meets a side of Harry that both unsettles him and intrigues him. From here, a game is played.

The concept of trying to be what other people want us to be really hit home: for years, I tried so hard to live up to everyone's idea of who I should be, only to fail time and time again. Despite their demands, nobody liked the person I was when I was trying to be who they wanted! It was as if they had set me up just to slap me down. Finally, I said to hell with them and their preconceived notions of the person I obviously WASN'T! Instead, I began being the person I'd never dared to be: MYSELF. And I was ASTOUNDED at how positive other people's reactions were to the REAL me! That must have been my "Sam" coming out! Even Snape recognizes that he has his own Sam. I'd love to see Harry fighting to maintain Sam, instead of letting Sam catch his own train, leaving Harry sitting alone on the hurtling ride of his life. // Well done! This story had me rereading it several times, thinking hard about LIFE!

Woohoooo! This was a fantastic story! I loved the way you included adult Dudley and let us see their childhood situation from his point of view. And the ACTION and SUSPENSE kept me going chapter after chapter (which kinda explains why I didn't review earlier chaps-- I just HAD to keep reading!), especially the St. Mungo's/abduction/Kreacher-to-the-rescue/Harry's Avada Kedavra (now THAT was a shock!)/Tim finally feels like he has a real family scenes. Wow! And the dreams Harry had-- am I correct in thinking that it all means that Snape has been reincarnated to give him a second chance at having a better life? Or am I off track? At any rate, I thoroughly enjoyed reading! Thanks!
Author's Response: You are absolutely on track. I am currently writing a sequel, "Severus' Dreams".
