Sequel to Days We Learn From. Severus, Harry and Draco are starting to establish their new normal, when day to day life is changed drastically once more thanks to a slight mix up involving a few potion samples. All of this leaves Severus dealing with a new troublemaker, the one he used to be! De-aged to six years old, he's a handful and half to deal with, and his adopted sons, Harry and Draco, will never let him forget it!

- Good-- a multi-faceted opening! Can't wait to see how the Weasleys will fit into the summer (along with Molly's wooden spoon?), and what kinds of "misadventures" the boys get up to! But what had me laughing out loud was the scene with rampaging furniture-- I used to work retail furniture, & we'd have to lift/carry furniture until the owner got those slides that let you just push stuff across the floor (store had combo of carpet, wood, & tile). My tiny co-worker took to moving SOFAS by herself; she'd gallop past the front desk with the sofa whizzing lengthwise ahead of her, shouting, "GANGWAY!" Your scene gave me a hearty laugh as I flashed back! ;-)

Cauldron’s bubbled. Potions simmered. And Snape was yelling at Neville again. Just another ordinary day in Potions class, or so they all thought. When a potion reveals something out of the ordinary, Harry’s life is changed forever, and not in a positive way. Was it so unreasonable to ask that he be allowed to make it through sixth year like a normal teenager?

- Wow! Stunning! Absolutely stunning! I could almost SEE Harry during that defense scene! And Snape's reaction! I wasn't sure if I liked the idea of Harry going to Durmstrang, but this looks like a pretty awesome opportunity for him! Can't wait to see what happens to Harry and Draco next!

- Oh, dear! To be continued... Just when I was really getting into the details of a new culture and new school! Really love how you've created a new locale for Harry and Draco. Also suspect that Snape himself may run afoul of various aspects of their new host country's customs at some point, and won't that be a true learning experience for ALL!!! Hope to see this story continued in the future, but am privileged to have read this much! (And that mysterious hole... 😆)

- Thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end! Loved your take on an AU fic, and with so many deviations from canon, I had to admit I was wary at first, but then I got caught up in the story, and WOW! You are SNAPEGIRL!!! I think my favorite aspect by far was Snape's patience in helping Harry overcome his fears and uncertainties, one by one. You didn't rush or gloss over anything, and you let us see Harry emerge into the person he should've been all along, by the time he had to testify in front of the Wizengemut. Well done! 😊

- awwww... What a tangy-sweet chapter! I just love the little poem that Harry wrote for the card he made for Shadow! I have to admit that I suspected the swan might be Snape from the first time he appears. I mean, a BLACK swan... YES! Wonderful chapter all the way through. I especially like the way you framed it within the story with Hagrid and Ron and Hermione. Nice going!
Author's Response: Thanks ^^; Bil wanted a bit of Hermione if possible and I thought writing the first chapter as a story within a story would be a good way of achieving this (as well as enabling me to let slip a few details ^^). I thought the swan would be rather recognisable lol: there's something so dramatic about black swans and ol' Sev is nothing if not dramatic!

- That is SOOOOOO wonderful! Well, tragic that Snape died before he could resolve things with Harry, but wonderful that Harry found out the truth at last. (Makes me wonder HOW Snape would have admitted it... "By the way, Potter, I am a swan..." Nahhhh!!! LOVED this story to the very hilt! Thanks for a wonderful tale!
Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I think, if Severus had the chance, he'd probably attempt to make amends over his behaviour first then, when the time felt right, he might confide in Harry. (Or, possibly, take the cowards way out and just leave his pensieve lying around lol!)
