I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter!

Severus Snape is my hero and favorite character by far. I have never forgiven J.K. for killing him off. I love to see him as a father figure to Harry. (Who needs James Potter? Not me!)

There are few pairings that I won't read about, but for some reason I cannot abide Ginny Weasley, unless she is a villian. I like her that way. Though that doesn't mean that I won't read fics with her as the love interest, it's just not my preference. Truth is that I adore reading and my tastes are rather eclectic, so bring on the stories, because I'm ready to review!

I have just started my first attempt at a Harry Potter fanfic and I hope that everyone will enjoy it. I welcome all constructive critism and any advice given will be noted.

    I wonder how many play dates there will be before Minerva will be able to show Harry who the cat really is? I am glad that Harry's natural talent for being an animagi has helped Minerva to spend time with the child.

    Every day, Severus is learning something more about his child. I have a feeling that with Severus' support that Harry will be able to reach incredible heights. The Dursleys would have done everything that they could to hold him back. God forbid that Harry prove himself better in any way compared to Dudley.

    Interesting! I wonder what effect Ariana's being able to see Albus will have upon him? I know that one of his truest, heartfelt wishes was to be able to see his sister once again. I am really curious as to what happened to Sirius as well.

    I won't say that those nasty children got what they deserve, but it's rather tempting. No matter what the boys were thoughtless and cruel to say such things within hearing range of Harry and his Tall Man, not to mention foolish. I wonder how the boys would react to discovering that the boy that they called a 'freak' is Harry Potter?

    I adored Harry's reaction to Minerva's innocent little slap on Severus' arm. Harry is most definitely very protective of his new daddy. He is just so adorable!

    Author's Response:

    Well, Severus will be at the very least teaching him about why his reaction was not the best to have in the eyes of a Slytherin.  He might even go so far as to say that it was wrong and that we should not hurt one another, but I can't really see him saying such a thing; so it's probably not going to actually happen.  lol

    As mentioned before, this Severus isn't even 25 yet.  Hell, he's younger than me.  :)  He doesn't have to always provide the mature response to Harry, even if he _should_.

    xD Those boys really didn't know who they were messing with! I have a feeling that they are going to be far more careful in the future, because they certainly don't want to upset the child that managed to destroy the most recent Dark Lord.

    It's wonderful to see Severus and Harry so happy together. I just hope that nothing will happen to ruin it....

    Whittleby must feel rather foolish now. He was thoroughly shown up by a young child. Maybe in the future he will be more careful about how he treats those that are attempting to help him, even if he doesn't really want the help. I know that the other students are going to be watchful around Harry from now on, since they don't want the wrath of his father to come down upon them...xDD.

    Severus should have properly introduced the boys before leaving them to each other. He really should have seen something like this coming. I suppose he was distracted by his concerns about explaining the situation to Lucius. I do agree that Harry should apologize for scaring Draco, but I believe that Draco, too, has some apologizing to do.

    I'm taking it that Dumbledore did something that caused Severus to become this way....perhaps he only wanted to help, but it's clear that he only made things worse. Now, he is pretending that all must be well and trying to force Severus to fall into line and pretend as well. Unfortunately for Dumbledore, Severus is neither willing nor able to comply. I'm really glad that Severus has Harry to protect him from well-meaning idiots and get him the help he actually needs.
