I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter!

Severus Snape is my hero and favorite character by far. I have never forgiven J.K. for killing him off. I love to see him as a father figure to Harry. (Who needs James Potter? Not me!)

There are few pairings that I won't read about, but for some reason I cannot abide Ginny Weasley, unless she is a villian. I like her that way. Though that doesn't mean that I won't read fics with her as the love interest, it's just not my preference. Truth is that I adore reading and my tastes are rather eclectic, so bring on the stories, because I'm ready to review!

I have just started my first attempt at a Harry Potter fanfic and I hope that everyone will enjoy it. I welcome all constructive critism and any advice given will be noted.

Plagued by the events from last June, Severus Snape starts his new position as Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Not all are glad about his new job, though. One such person is seventh-year Harry Potter who comes to Hogwarts for one specific reason, to kill Severus Snape.     I wonder what Harry's plan is? Is he going to tell his friends who he really is and finally begin to fight back? If the entire student body worked together they could most certainly make the Carrows disappear..

    I wonder how long it will take for the effects of the belladonna to begin showing? I love that the house elves are now having a 'call to arms' as well. There is a great deal of harm that they can cause without anyone realizing where it is coming from until it's too late. :D

    Carrow is an idiot. Torturing students won't accomplish anything but problems in the future for his 'Lord'. There will be a breaking point when the students WILL rise up against them if they continue on this course.

    It was their own fault. The Carrows weren't following orders and had to pay the price. Voldemort is a bit smarter. He understands that it won't do him any good to allow his Deatheaters to do harm to their compatriots children.

    I wonder how Minerva will feel once she learns the truth behind Dumbledore's death? Will she understand that Severus killing Albus with the curse was actually a kindness? I hope that Minerva will continue to do as she was asked and help to protect Severus and the children.

    Author's Response: I never covered this part, but I do mention that if she died right then, she'd smack Dumbledore upside the head for manipulating her like he had. I'm rather certain she comes to an understanding with Severus after she learns it, though. Thanks.

    He did protect Harry and shouldn't die for it, so I hope that Harry will revive quickly enough to save Severus' life. Severus' plan did work and now Voldemort is gone. I know that a great deal is owed to Severus for his bravery and sacrifice and I hope that whether he survives or not that he will finally get the recognition he is due.

    There Lily goes breaking Severus' heart yet again. It seems like everyone that Severus loves uses him for their own gains. I hope that he will find someone who loves him without conditions. Lily doesn't deserve his love and loyalty.

    It seems that Ron has been putting words into young James Potter's ears. I do hope that his father will be able to nip that attitude in the bud eventually. I hope that if he is sorted into Slytherin, Albus will find that all the Houses have their positives and negatives and that all are needed...

    If circumstance had been different, I think that Severus would have eventually have come to be on far friendlier terms with Harry. It's too bad that their understanding happened after Severus' death. I am glad that Severus was there to support Harry as he walked to his death at Voldemort's hands.

    Author's Response: i agrre, that if Snape was to survive te war that him and Harry would've been Friendlier towards each other. i was going to add the others to this, but didn't for the fact that i wanted this to be like a finally "thank you" and "goodbye" between the two.

    It's really too bad that it took Severus playing the sneaky spy to find out that Harry was abused. I am glad that Severus did and that Harry was rescued from those monsters. I would love to see a continuation of this story. Fantastic fic!

    I kind of feel for Harry. I think that he would really like to have a better relationship with Severus. Maybe, in time, Severus will be willing to take a chance and accept Harry as a potential friend and ally.

    Severus is in an uncomfortable position. I do hope that he will be able to avoid future run-ins with Malfoy and his thugs. Having a few friends might help to....
