I like the concept of the pen pals; very cool idea. What Moody was doing to Harry was awful, and I'm glad that he was finally rescued (along with Snape and Draco). Hopefully things will continue to look up for Harry, Draco and Snape.

I really like this, and, being a teacher, can totally relate: "'This was not part of my job description. Can you imagine the want ad? 'Hogwarts Potions Master needed. Must be able to bilocate and keep up with all the escapades of the Malfoy heir and the Boy-Who-Lived, while grading papers, preparing lessons, and enforcing discipline in the entire school.''" I think that, in a way, all teachers have Potters and Malfoys of their own to contend with, and the ability to bilocate would be extremely handy.

Ooh, I like that Alastor is dead, and that it was Minerva who did it. Now, I kind of want them all to go on the run and hideaway somewhere, though I am sure that wherever you choose to take this story will be great. I really enjoyed this description: "His eyes held dozens of questions." Keep up the writing.

The term continues on after Sirius' death, and Harry Potter is not okay. Wandering about aimlessly, Harry attempts to be who everyone wants him to be while slowly coming undone. Life has never been easy for The Boy Who Lived in the Cupboard Under the Stairs, but this is the straw that breaks the camel's back. Will anybody notice that Harry Potter is breaking? Is there hope? Perhaps it will soon ring true that "not all who wander are lost."

Poor Harry. I like that, along with Dumbledore and McGonagall, Snape seems to be concerned about Harry.
Author's Response: Thanks!

I like that Severus is questioning what's going on, and that it's, in a way, causing him to question what he believes about Harry.
I really enjoyed this line, to see that Severus caught the ambiguity of what Harry had said: "'Yes there are bludgers capable of literacy, or yes you have been subjected to the blood quill? Speak up,'Severus responded, growing impatient."
Author's Response: Thanks! That was one of my favorite lines too :)

Seems like things have come to a head with Harry playing chicken with the train. You built the story up nicely, so that this was not completely out of left field. I like that someone is there with him, after, and that you've made just who that is a little mysterious.
Author's Response: Thanks! I was trying to make it realistic. Harry sees the train and gets excited, the child in him coming out as the wonder of something so massive and neat speeds toward him. Before he can think, his body is taking him toward it and his motives change as he realizes that it could all be over in a second. But he doesn't give up. Anyway, that was my thought process. Thanks for reading!

Lovely, and powerful ending to a story that was a pleasure to read. I think that this was a good place to end this particular part of the tale of Severus and Harry. It is a beginning of a new life for both of them, and it works well.
Author's Response: Thank you!!

Beautiful, and I think Poe might not mind this lovely work that emulates his own. The last two stanzas gave me chills. This is one of my favorite works by Poe, and I believe that you did it justice here.
Author's Response: Thanks, you are very kind.
