- This is wonderful. It is sweet, and humorous, and touching. I like that Harry's letter, when Severus finally gets his hands on it, has many misspelled words, because that makes it so much more genuine, and precious (I can see Snape putting this into safekeeping and pulling it out every Christmas to read over again). This made me laugh: "Severus Snape had never run through the corridors of Hogwarts quite so fast in his entire life. Several students were knocked down in the process, and even Peeves was having a hard time keeping up with him." (I could totally picture that happening) I really enjoyed reading this!

On Christmas Eve, Harry makes a mistake that nearly costs him his life, and now nothing short of a miracle is able to save him. A frantic Lily shows herself to Severus, pleading to save her son. - Beautiful ending. I really like the gifts that Severus gave to Harry, and how Lily came to him at the stroke of midnight, just as Harry had passed out looking at the angel. Lovely Christmas story.

Entrant for the Holiday Fic fest 2015. Harry is the adopted son of Tobias Snape. Now Tobias has promised to invite his other son home for Christmas and Harry is eagerly looking forward to meet his “brother”, whom he has never met before.

- That sounds like a lovely gingerbread house...Hogwarts version. I like that, though the ice seemed to break between Harry and Severus in the previous chapter, there are still kinks to iron out, and Harry is still having some misgivings. Nice.

- I like how Severus started warming up to Harry, and how he patiently answered all of Harry's questions (that can be a feat in and of itself, answering a kid's questions). Very nicely done.

- Off to not as happy a start as Harry had hoped. Hopefully Tobias is right and Severus will snap out of this funk that he's in, though it must've been quite a shock for him to see Harry Potter in his home. Nicely done.
