A beautiful addendum to JKR's epilogue. I especially enjoyed the end, when Severus led Harry on the next great adventure. He'd been quiet for all of those years, allowing both of them to grow and for him to come to the final stage of acceptance (or so that is how I read it). Loved it.
Author's Response: Thanks ^^: I'm glad you liked it ^^ I thought that Harry, who is a very sensitive person, would probably be drawn to Severus's grave, first through guilt and, later on, because he feels great empathy for his dead teacher. And, as you've said, this has led Harry and Severus to be able to get to know each other in a way that they could not when he was alive, mainly because they'd both be hiding behind their words to a greater of lesser extent.
During the Summer of Second Year, Molly Weasley express her concerns about Harry returning to his relatives. The school staff has to hear her and a place must be found for Harry.

I like that Molly was the one to bring up the idea that Harry might not be treated properly at home and that Madame Pomphrey investigates immediately. Harry's angry reaction is very believable as it would be difficult to understand how they could not have known and how, now that he knows they know, that nothing seems to be changing. Great start.
Author's Response: Thanks a lot for reading and reviewing. I though that Molly should know something and as she states that Harry is almost a part of her family she should try to help him. I hope you like the next chapter. : )

Loving this story thus far. You've built up such wonderful tension throughout. I am excited to read more.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm especially happy you think I build up tension, because somehow with every chapter I write I fear it might be boring...

Wonderful, uplifting story at the end. I like how Snape remained distinctly Snape throughout, and that little bit of rearrangement of the game at the end was a nice touch. Excellent handling of such a delicate, and difficult subject.

I like how you addressed this very serious topic, and how Snape was in character, and yet helped Harry. He wasn't overly emotional about it, which Harry really didn't need, but was very pragmatic. It was an enjoyable read. The ending is very sweet (in a Snape kind of way).
While waiting in Dumbledore's office, Harry and Snape are suddenly transported into a series of unending memories. In response to 'Through the eyes of Severus Snape' challenge by watercrystals.

I thought this chapter flowed very well. It did not feel rushed, emotionally, or otherwise. I am very eager to read what happens next.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing :) I'm glad you like the pacing, because that's something I've really wanted to keep consistent. I'll try and update soon :D

This is such a beautiful story. I love how it ended, and wish that there was another scene showing us what Christmas was like for Harry and Snape at the Evans'. Lovely story.
Severus Snape is a spy by nature and by training. As such it infuriates him when he realizes that he knows virtually nothing about the real Harry…other than the fact that Harry keeps a journal. Using his own invisibility cloak, Severus sneaks into the Gryffindor tower while the students are at the leaving feast and exchanges the journal's specially matched ever-sharp quill with a quill of his own that has been charmed to a parchment in Severus' possession so that everything Harry writes is copied to the parchment. What does Harry write, and what happens when Severus realizes that they are kindred spirits. 2010 Challenge Fest entry. Response to Pen Pals by dianehc.

I really enjoyed reading this story. I like how you built up suspense throughout it, and interspersed some humor as well (particularly at the end); it really made for a well-rounded read.
When Severus Snape is left in charge of Hogwarts over the Christmas break, he is less than pleased to discover Harry will be one of his charges. Events force him to face that Mr. Potter may not be quite what he has assumed all these years.

I like that Harry has a unique ability to do something with most Potions Masters are unable to master. Great, enjoyable chapter!
