Cauldron’s bubbled. Potions simmered. And Snape was yelling at Neville again. Just another ordinary day in Potions class, or so they all thought. When a potion reveals something out of the ordinary, Harry’s life is changed forever, and not in a positive way. Was it so unreasonable to ask that he be allowed to make it through sixth year like a normal teenager?

I can't wait to see where you are going with this story. I never thought i'd say thisbut....."Good for you Lucius!" Im glad that Harry had someone to 'care' for him on Patents. im still a little...Paranoid...that Mr. Malfoy is just using harry to get at snape.
Author's Response: No worries about the Malfoy's. They are truly being genuine in this story which is why I wanted to cut Voldemort and his death eater's activities out of it completely.

- SQWEEEE! I love it so far, Snapegirl! When I saw my alert that you posted a new fic, and it turned out to be my fic exchange, I squeeled so loud, I'm sure china heard it!lol.
Thou I'm not a huge Tobias fan, the way you portray him here is wonderful. Switching his and sev's mom's treatment towards Sev is something you rarly see in fics.
I love how you made sev an Unspeakable! It is something I could See Sev doing, if he didn't work with potions, given his vast knowlage of the dark arts, potions, and even Occlememcy.
Of to read chapter two!

Harry must be really 'strong' to have been able to keep himself hidden from the DE's!
Poor Harry. I hope Sev can save him, without Harry have any permanant ill effects from his nearly drained magic

Just wanted to let you know, I went back to chapter 8 and put in an extra conversation between Snape and Harry and Harry and Toby because another reviewer asked what about them discussing James to Harry? Yes, black swans are really cute; we have a really friendly pair here and, whenever I walk past the estuary, they waddle up to see me, squeaking happily and swishing their black tails ^^. Why on earth would you think that elegant, poised Shadow, with his oily black feathers and intelligent, penetrating, dark eyes is Snape?!
