Harry and Severus thought once Voldemort died, they'd finally have the opportunity to live normal lives, preferably far away from each other. However, thanks to a Minister out for revenge, a Death Eater who needs a reality check, and a meddling Headmaster, normal and separate are the last words either could use to describe their next year at Hogwarts as they start their newest adventure as master and apprentice.

- Nice chapter. I like the subtle manipulation with Dumbledore and Severus along with Severus and Harry. Your inclusion of Shacklebolt was nice also because it shows a bit of distrust between the two. Good job.

Locking Harry in the broom closet was the catalyst that unlocked a whole flurry of issues that young Harry and Severus must now begin to work through... together.

- Awe...very nice, Dream. Just a little more to go with explaining the wickedness of the Dursleys. I love the way you wrote Snape's uneasiness with him getting stronger with each word spoken. Very nice chapter.

- Very nice, Dream and DA. Though, can you give me a short explanation why Severus' leg hurts so much? And why it is so dangerous for him to teach? I feel like I'm missing something there, which I guess I'm supposed to considering that this is called "Flashbacks." :D The ending is very warm and semi-fuzzy with Severus and Harry. Very good story.

Ah, I alluded to that, some. His leg and nerves were damaged in an encounter with Bellatrix. His leg isn't hurting at the moment, Harry's just concerned that it is - and Severus, of course, wouldn't volunteer the information even if it were. The reason it is dangerous for him to brew is because the damage to his nerves causes random spasms and shaking in his hands. Could you imagine him pouring a volitile ingredient into a tetchy potion and suddenly dumping the whole thing in when his hand starts shaking? Tried to fill that in for everyone.
Glad you enjoyed it. I really liked writing this last chapter.
Harry and Snape need to find a new home for the summer.

- Oh, very nice chapter, Shadow. Poor Harry for having so many questions not answered, but that was how he was in canon, wasn't it? I must say I am very interested to learn how Snape was there in the Potter residence with Lily during Harry's first Christmas. :D Onto the next chapter...

- oooh...the plot thickens. I liked the inclusion of Les in here. He showed another side of Snape nicely, that the can get along mostly with others. :D Though, my only question is that Snape saw the butterfly bruises on Harry in the previous chapter, now wouldn't he be a bit more cautious with Harry in regards to having the boy change in the presence of another with just that suspicion itself? I mean, Snape said with Les that Les's parents clearly were ignorant if they couldn't tell that their son was gay since Snape could. So isn't he doing the same basically? :D Good chapter. Love the frequent updates.
