- Very interesting chapter, loved the inclusion of 'Snuffles' and the revelations as to what happened between Severus and Lily made a lot of sence in the context of the last chapter. Enjoyed the interaction between Severus and the Dursleys

- Very interesting chapter, loved the idea that Severus would create a nursery and it was very sweet that he looked after Harry's dog for all those years. Poor Snuffles, either his secret is going to be out or he's in for a very nasty surprise

- Lovely chapter; I really like this premise- I can see how easily Fred and George could do something that silly (given their inventive streak). Ron's feelings are brilliantly portrayed (you've captured his character perfectly) and his arguement with Harry felt very realistic. I also love your depiction of Severus; he's not quite the canon Severus (he wouldn't be after 4 yrs of fatherhood) but he has many of 'canon-Snape's' characteristics. Well written and entertaining

Thanks so much! I keep finding mistakes and problems and wishing to change it all the time so the compliments are really confidence boosting. I am extremely bad with writing kids and i owe a lot to my beta as well, Wands. See, that reminds me, I need to put in the disclaimer and Thanks to beta! I am glad you found the chapter entertaining :)
Also, I had pretty much given up on Snape halfway through the fic. His most defining point is his irascible nature, at least towards kids and that has gone for a toss here. I tried to inculcate a little sarcasm, but I don't do it well and lost subtlety somewhere during the flow as also, downplayed his language. So, I am really glad to hear that this character could be rationalised to be a new-and-improved Snape somehow. I had given up hope.

- Brilliant premise and very well-written; I love the interaction between Harry, Petunia and Lily, it's so crisp and believable. I also am intregued by what happened to Lily and who took her prisoner that night.

You've depicted Severus beautifully; it's very in character for him to be so suspicious and I loved how you've combined his two sides- the 'professor Snape' persona and the Severus he was for Lily. Your portrayal of Harry, Dumbledore and Lily were also great. An entertaining, well written chapter.

- Good premise and a well written opening chapter; I like the little details of Albus and Severus' relationship you've woven in and their dialogue. However (and you did ask your readers to be critical ;) I don't think Severus would react so physically or verbally; as a spy Severus would have to be able to exert total control over himself at all times and, given how awkward Snape can be, I can't see him letting his guard down over this with Dumbledore, especially when a. the man already had him bristling and b. Severus must already have had a good idea he would see Lily. Nevertheless, interesting and entertaining chapter.
