After nearly freezing to death outside his relative's home, little Harry is rescued by first a spirit and then a snarky git! The adventure isn't over yet though, as Snape soon realizes that his charge's problems aren't limited to just frostbite.

- Aww, super sweet ending. And I'm really interested in what James is doing with Albus. I like the fact that he gets a slightly more active role in this. Most times he just gets ignored.
Just a short drabble about Severus's newly adopted son, Harry Potter. It can either be read as part of my story , "A Means of Survival," (posted at FF.net), or it can be read on its own. I purposely made the style a bit ambiguous for that very reason. During HP & COS.

- Wow. Ditto zebra. I absolutely love it! A story where a mortal Dumbledore plays at god and fails- and someone else pays the consequence, and someone else is left holding the bag. Only this time, they aren't letting him play god with them anymore.
And the whole wizarding perception of weaknesses. It's true, isn't it? You're either perfect or wrong, there is no in-between. Anyone who is too different is wrong, or lesser. Great story.

Just before Christmas, Harry hears the basilisk again and believes he's going mad. Why else would he hear a voice that no one else can, talking about blood and death? - Love love love the story. And the useof the name "Henry" is great, as is the meaning to Servatius. I like using names that have meanings related to the person/story.
One shots would be absolutely wonderful. One at least should deal with repairing the potential friendship with Draco, and helping Draco realize what went wrong. The living arrangements for Henry as well, in another. And the Dumbledore factor. It would also give resolution to find out about that group Severus was talking about and how it helps Henry.
The interaction between Henry (yes, I think you broke me using Harry for a while) and Severus was wonderful. Great story.

*laughs at the last comment* Sev almost broke me of typing "Harry" where I was supposed to! I had to go through the story a few times and make sure I had typed the right name in the right spot. I'm glad you like the name meanings, I had fun finding those.
I'm looking forward to repairing the potential relationship between Draco and Henry. It should be interesting and a little easier since Henry now knows that not all Slytherins are evil. As for the living arrangements, that one is definitely coming. I just haven't decided when or how. You will get to see the group and more Henry and Sev interactions. It may takes some time to get out, but you'll see them.

- Interesting, different and intense. I really enjoyed the story, the interaction between Snape and Harry. The insights and the switching of places in the end, it was all wonderful.
There are many secrets Severus Snape holds, but most of those secrets, he'd confide them in someone he deems trustworthy, like Dumbledore. Even so, there are still some matters he would never ever confess verbally, not even to Dumbledore.
