- Excellent. The repetition of what Severus needs to feel safe really emphasised his fears; and what an unusual idea that the Muggle world may have a better answer for some ills than the (usually perceived as superior) Wizarding one.
Severus contemplates his life after Voldemort and settles into an anonymous retirement away from the wizarding world until fate strikes with an advertisement from a very recognisable former thorn in his side. - Lovely. Snape was the expected grumpy old sod, but you gave him much more to his character. And a happy ending too!! Glad you hinted that Harry might have a few issues - I never enjoy post-DH stories where he suddenly turns into controlled, assertive 'perfection'.

Yeah, I don't see Harry that way at all. Anyone who has lived through abuse or neglect has a host of issues that just don't clear up magically because they are out of the situation.

- Lovely. So many great images in a short piece. I was just wondering what on earth had happened to Snape when the Obliviate made it all feel right.
Author's Response: Hee hee!!! Yes, indeed! Snape was really acting rather oddly (compared to his usual oddness...), but that Obliviate was always coming, so he got an opportunity to come across to Harry about as naturally as Snape ever could. I love the way you said, "...when the Obliviate made it all feel right." That's wonderful! Thanks so much!!!
During Harry's 5th year, the Ministry decides to interfere with Hogwarts, namely the sweets and fatty foods served by the house elves. Will Hogwarts finally be whipped into shape, or is the Ministry going to find a bit of a revolt on their hands?
