Thirteen-year-old Harry is forced into the body of another Harry in a parallel world, where Snape adopted him years ago. And Snape is enraged to discover that his son has been replaced by a stranger. In our world, Snape discovers a new Harry--one who sees him as a father he never wanted to be. Each Harry must learn to survive in a strange new world, and search for a way home.

Oh the irony...this ending is bittersweet. I was tearing up a bit, my itunes in the background on random playlist, thinking how sad (but not desperately so) the song was that was playing and how its mood fit this final chapter...and I just saw that it's called "I'll remember you" by Sophie Zelmani -- one song that I never listen to out of almost 3000.
Very nice story, not overly fluff but not depressingly sad either. A not-so-(un?)happy ending after a story which kept the canon characters nicely in character but still left room for them to grow according to your storyline. Good job.
Author's Response: Music is a great accompaniment to both reading and writing. :)
Thanks—I didn't want fluff but I didn't want excessive wallowing, either. And I like the idea that the story goes on after I write "The End."

I know it doesn't really matter but for some reason I'm channeling my inner Hermione and poker player and really HAVE to point out that at least in Poker Full House doesn't beat Four of a Kind. Only Straight Flush beats Four of a Kind (Royal Flush being a form of that obviously). Though I guess you could always say that it's different in Dragons Wild.
I have to get back to reading the story now... ;-)
When Severus Snape is left in charge of Hogwarts over the Christmas break, he is less than pleased to discover Harry will be one of his charges. Events force him to face that Mr. Potter may not be quite what he has assumed all these years.

Nice job. First I wasn't sure if the attunement thing isn't a bit much, but I'm glad to see that you haven't made it such a big deal. (I think it's unnecessary because it's perfectly reasonable to me that performance in a subject at least in part depends on your teacher and his behaviour, particularly when you're just starting a subject, since later stuff will be based on what you learned (or didn't learn) earlier) Still, nice chapter.

Very nice and yes, too short! Are you also going to write something about Harry meeting Sirius or Remus? A sequel maybe ;-)
Author's Response: Yey!! Glad you like!! And I'll think about your suggestion. (And probably even take it!)

G*ddamn, I must be unbalanced or something because your story made me cry more than once. I know it was probably meant to be heartwarming, but I found it very sad (though it did have positive elements). I must be the 'glass half-empty' type, because most of the time I thought about how much Snape's life was really wasted (even though he was a bastard more often then not) and about all the lost chances and wasted lives. And that was despite the fact that I did catch your drift about who Tim was...
It was a good story, though. Maybe I'm just in a very peculiar mood.

I like your story so far, but it seems too big a coincidence that his never-heard-of nephew would appear just as "Harry" dies. That's pretty see-through considering all the options that wizards have with disguising people etc. I just can't imagine people not noticing...
Author's Response: severus is well aware of the complications and he is very thorough. as for his never heard of nephew he has been heard of, he was just important.

Good job, however I'm a bit worried that Harry's gonna get an earful for "trespassing" because he surely can't have been the one who saved Snape, don't we all know that he's pathetic at potions!? Or maybe not ;-)
