Draco's an idiot, but I wish Snape would take a little time to think about Draco's background. His father certainly isn't the best role model, and in some ways he might be as damaged as Harry.
I really love how you include all those little plots in the transcripts! Looking forward to the next chapter!

- Great installment! I'm glad someone confronted Severus about what he did to Dudley, as it just doesn't feel right. I hope they can do something to fix it.
I *love* the plot with Hermes/Hermione! It's very interesting and well-thought-out, as of course is the rest of the story!

- You know, for a while there I thought Harry's 'experiment' would end in tragedy (the Astronomy Tower comes to mind)... and I couldn't help wondering how Harry (not to mention Dumbledore and Flitwick) would have been affected by that. I have to say, while Harry's idea was kind of malicious, he *is* only a teenager, after all... but Dumbledore and Flitwick deserve their own Haunting Charm for what they did, and to their colleague/friend, no less.
Anyway, a great story for Halloween which I thoroughly enjoyed reading! Thank you very much!
Author's Response: Hey, thank YOU for the review! Personally, I'd lay all the blame on Dumbledore, since Flitwick would have ended the Charm, if Dumbledore hadn't ordered him to let it play out as scheduled and to tell Harry the same. I came up with the idea for this story right after Halloween last year, and I'm thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed it, now that I finally got it written! Thanks for reading! :-)

- Have some Snape then :)!
I thought the present tense format worked well, even though it was a rather action-packed tale (for some reason most present tense stories tend to be more introspective).
Some of my favorite moments: Vernon Dursley's verbal bullying of Harry and Snape's intervention; Draco protecting Hermione, and finally Dumbledore... although if any of the parents ever find out he brought a dragon into the school "for the greater good", I imagine he'll find himself in quite hot water!

- I'm very excited to see a new installment to this series! I don't mind a darker tone at all - so far, you still have enough humorous moments to keep it an easy and enjoyable read (and now I'm very curious why Dumbledore doesn't want a drama group at Hogwarts!).

James Potter and his gang should have been expelled, simple as that. It's horrible that no one did anything, just because the victim happened to be a Slytherin and not the most popular and handsome student. Sorry, I had to get that off my chest ;)... I hate the Marauders.

I much prefer them once they're older, because the younger versions of them drive me crackers too, seeing as I was about as popular as Severus when I was in elementary school. I really like where you're going with this, and while I can tell that difficult times are ahead for Sev and his boys, I love how you include all those fun little moments - the singing quill, the homesick firsties and last but not least Sev and Lily.
Looking forward to more... oh, and PLEASE don't let anything happen to Munkastrap. Sad stories about cats just kill me...
