    Author's Response: Oh, you haven't even seen the beginning of Snape vs Quirrell, believe me. Sorry about it being so short, but the next chapter deals with Christmas and its surroundings, and is going to be ... rather on the long side of life, so hopefully that makes up for it. I don't really like posting short chapters, but sometimes the 'breaks' just work that way.

    Looking forward to part 2. I think this new relationship with Snape will be good for Harry. He has someone he can depend on now. Ron, Hermoine, and Ginny being back in his corner can only help.

    Still loving this story! Hopefully now that Harry has a more stable homelife and a good support system, he won't feel like he needs to deal with everything himself when he starts hearing the voice.

    Author's Response: No kidding, though sadly he'll still have to deal with some of it, as there's no other way to stop the bailisk except by using parsletongue (either to open the chamber or talk the thing down, you'll have to wait and see which!)
