- WOW. I can think of no other things to say than WOW. What gave you this idea? it's brilliant!! And I like the way the sorting hat thinks and remembers the students it sorted before! WOW.
Author's Response: Aww thanks :) The idea kinda just popped into my head one day! I shaped my personification of the hat on my favorite book, the Book Thief, which also has a very interesting narrartion style. I'll try and update soon :D

- Hahaha! Nice work! I'd forgotten about the Patronus as well, but Snape remembered. Oh well. I like the tickling part, though.
Snape's casting the Imperious on Harry! Is there any ultimate motive? Is Harry going to get Imperioed into killing his Professor? Aack! That's might be nice. It is kinda nice when the first command Snape gave him was to straighten his tie. Haha. Bet he's been eyeing it for a while before casting the curse.
Excellent as ever, though I have to point out, the first two times Snape casted the Imperious, he used the incantation Imperius instead of Imperio. Any particular reason? I mean, the last time, which is also the only time he used the correct incantation when he casted it was the only time when he commanded Harry to do something utterly repulsive. Just a thought. That's cute. Haha. Don't we all know that. Theoretically. ;)
Another fantastic chapter. I'm curious. How do you write so fluently, so well without being over-descriptive yet managing to describe even the tiny parts of emotions? Perhaps it's my country's exams' policy, I can't seem to write anything without being over-descriptive... sigh. makes it a bit boring, you know...
anyway, back to the story. The part about the Dark Arts is rather nice. I love it. And Sirius somehow makes me feel angry. Haha. Harry's opinion of Snape seems to have mellowed a bit. Is anything drastic gonna happen soon that pushes both of them closer(or further *grimaces*)?

What a lovely review! I've been horribly sick this week (so probably not another chapter until next week) and this really perked me up :) I don't know if my writing is anything special but I do think I might rely (perhaps too heavily) on the fully formed characters we all have in our heads thanks to JKR's great writing and so just use 'shortcuts' as it were so that it's clear what you should be seeing. And that is either being lazy or being resourceful!

Oh, and please don't end it too soon. I really like this. :) As for ideas, how about Harry disappearing/kidnapped by Death Eaters? Or maybe Harry could get all upset due to some sort of misunderstanding between him and Dumbledore regarding the adoption. :)
